annieoParticipant
drive me bonkers. Why does he do all that squinting? Between his whispering, which I know has been addressed, but I’ve actually heard him speak loud so I know it’s possible, he squints 90% of the time. Not becoming at all.
annieoParticipantI think of an infant. How old would this baby be by now? It’s been how long since the baby supposedly died?
annieoParticipanthe used what I would call a normal voice. Not all the time, but at least it was louder. It’s like he does is for effect. Funny, I don’t notice Kate’s. And I agree, what a ridiculous plan. Go ahead, alienate everyone. This is being drawn out far, far, far too long. I feel sorry for anyone who has that much vindictiveness in them (Kristen) to nurse it how many years to get revenge. I hold a grudge for a while, but how long has this been going on? I wasn’t watching when she was on initially. When was it?
annieoParticipantSo, do you think that this convoluted story about Cierra obsessing over this picture in an envelope has all been about Cierra meeting Kristen today and telling her her woes about her daddy, while at the same time, John is telling Brady about how Kristen was never the same after she miscarried. Now Brady comes out of the coffee shop and spies Cierra and "motherly" Kristen talking in a cozy manner and he thinks, "I’ll do everything in my power to see that Kristen gets to be a Mom". If this whole envelope thing was leading up to this scene to get Cierra and Kristen together, I’m not buying it. In the first place, why would Cierra’s playdate’s mom let her talk to a perfect stranger? And why would Cierra tell Kristen, a total stranger, how much she misses her dad? And Why does John Black always whisper when he talks? And when is this farfetched envelope storyline going to end? And in response to a post somewhere else on this board, Cierra looks like a clone of Gabbi.
annieoParticipantAs "Grimm" fans here in Portland on the West Coast noticed, the new episode that was scheduled to air last night was bumped, and a rerun aired instead. The reason: NBC’s coverage of news coming out of Boston pre-empted "Grimm" on East Coast time. When that happens, the scheduled show can’t air on the West Coast, either.
Which means that last night, viewers saw a rerun, instead of "Ring of Fire," the new episode that was supposed to air. With last week’s planned rerun, that’s two reruns in a row. Obviously, major news events will pre-empt entertainment programs, but this also means "Grimm" fans will be especially eager to see a new outing.
For some reason I can’t get the rest of the article to post, but what is says is, as of April 30, Grimm is being moved to Tuesdays at 10 pm, pre-empting some other show.
annieoParticipantI guess I am getting old, but those scenes in the strip club just went on far too long. I felt sorry for the guy who had to keep gyrating on the stage while Chad was working on Anne. And the fact that Caroline was there with some woman was so strange. I guess we were supposed to think that her alzheimer’s was "kicking in" because that whole scene was so out of character. And I keep wondering what is wrong with her mouth when she talks? Too much botox? She looks great for her age but her mouth drives me crazy. Cannot stand Anne, yuck, yuck, yuck. And poor Abby on stage. That was so ludicrous. Someone from the club would have stopped that from going on as long as it did. I was glad when the whole scene ended.

annieoParticipantYesterday, or was it Monday, when she was acting all innnocent with Dan "I didn’t do anything to Jenn" all I could think was she’s just a pretty face in this role. She’s really not a good actress. I know we’re not suppose to bash the acting, but it was just so obvious yesterday. She just has this stare about her like her contacts are too tight on her eyes. I won’t miss her when she leaves – esp. the tight dresses for any and all occasions.
annieoParticipantI can’t post in Firefox anymore. Have to use Safari. I also have a Mac.
annieoParticipantMissed last week and this week, though of Once Upon a Time. But I read this morning online that the actress playing young Cora had been in a "devastating car accident" that resulted in plastic surgery, so maybe that’s why she looked different.
And Grimm, WOW, I was on the edge of the couch on that episode. Love Monroe, glad Rosalee is back even though she has strange mouth actions when she speaks. Never have been fond of the actress playing Nick’s girlfriend. She seems somehow not animated enough, but the ending with Adalind. Can’t wait on that one.
Anyone watch Double Divas? My husband just can’t understand why I watch it. Not that I’m glued to it, but I think for all the sensationalism with the gigantic breasts they also seem to want to do good stuff, like the woman who had reconstructive surgery. I think Molly is just cute and her sidekick sounds like Vicki Lawrence in Mama’s Family. I’m thinking about sending them my picture so see if they can fit me into the right bra size via online. They seem to be able to get it pretty much on the mark each time!
annieoParticipantI thought her supposedly comic comments seemed so forced last night. And the camera panned at odd times on her daughter who was making strange faces. I don’t think Stanley had a choice in who his model was (I missed that part), but he got the woman who probably was proportioned most like a model, hence it was easier for him to design something. I wondered when they took measurements of these women because you definitely couldn’t just start to sew without having that information. I guess they cut alot of that stuff out. I hated that woman’s hair hanging in her face and I thought the dress they "all wanted" looked terribly frumpy (one color in the front, black in the back, with the racing stripe) It needed taken in or something. Fit was pretty awful on most of them. Michelle’s model really gave it all it was worth and the dress looked cute on her. Initially I didn’t like Kate’s outfit, after looking at a picture online, it was cute. Richard’s turqoise one looked very dated and didn’t fit great, but I thought others were uglier.
annieoParticipantI don’t know what high school any of you went to, but I can’t imagine a club called The Golden Circle for those girls "waiting for marriage." And that those people would be photographed for the year; and also that the yearbook should just be there to be picked up and leafed through. Hasn’t she been out of high school for some time? I know my kids’ yearbooks are put away on a shelf and rarely see the light of day. The whole thing was rather silly.
annieoParticipantI actually enjoyed the show when EJ & Sami weren’t on screen, even though I wanted to tell Brady what a jerk he’s being. But I see today that they’re back. Can’t figure out the draw to either character [or actors for that matter].
annieoParticipantI "sorta watched it" last night and thought it was pretty lame. I didn’t see the premier show but they are really trying to push it because of where it is in the time slot between The Middle and Modern Family, both of which we watch. I really liked Suburbatory last year and I guess next week it starts AFTER Modern Family. I think the network is hoping that keeping The Neighbors at the current time slot that it will catch on. I’m going to use that time to get ready for bed!
