Wasn’t he? EOM
annieoParticipantI liked Christopher’s, but Dimitry’s was just show-stopping to me. The fringes were a real Wow factor. Like "Watch those Rockettes kick their legs!" My daughter, on the other, hand was rooting for Christopher’s. It was brilliant, but I thought the color looked too pastel. I didn’t know how it would translate to the crowd in the back of a theater. Poor Ven, he finally became more human then blew it. There is a website you can go to which I’ll paste below and it is actually the Fashion Show Week finale held on Sept. 7. Scroll down about 4 rows and look for "finale Collections Sept. 07" unless don’t want to see the designs (you’ll not know the winner – they let six designers show but you’ll only get to see the three finalists on TV (according to my daughter). Elena’s models! ugh! But I didn’t really care for any of the clothing. A couple here, a couple there. It’s Fabio, Gunnar (who was eliminated!) Christopher, Dmitry & Elena. I’m not sure why Sonja wasn’t in there. Maybe she was and they didn’t post pictures. Anyway, I still felt bad for Dmitry. I think he got gipped a few times over the course of the show. And a final thought. I thought Debra Messing didn’t look that great last night. She’s always gorgeous, but not last night.

annieoParticipantIf they held the office for a year, how does the next person get elected?
annieoParticipantBut he was in the bottom two. I agreed with the judges on who did go home (can’t remember his name), but Ven’s outfit did the woman no favors and his attitude toward her sucked. You’ll have to watch it. Heidi alluded to "one or more of you will be going home." I tried to post a longer comment about all this, but the site kept kicking me off and I had to keep starting my thoughts over.
annieoParticipantor that she is not looking out for Nick but has her own agenda? I think she’s his mom. She knows too much about the trailer. She knows where to look for informatiom (books, etc.) in the trailer. That being said, she really is a "grim" looking person! I had to laugh at Rosalee’s comment "I think it was a smile."
annieoParticipantBecause the captain told her (the blond woman Hesenbiest) that they had to keep Nick close to keep an eye on him. So if Juliette loses her memory he thinks that gives Nick nothing to stay around for. I think she’ll get the potion "in the "Nick" of time (bad pun) and be saved!
annieoParticipantor perhaps in this case, back, to justify her actions? But didn’t they blame it on her stroke back when it happened?
annieoParticipantThere’s a picture of the Grimm cast at Comic Con 2012 on the NBC website. The actress that plays Rosalee is very pregnant. I read that her husband is an orthopaedic surgeon and their second child is due in September. I’ll have to watch and see how they hide her pregnancy. I really like her with Monroe. I think I like them as a couple more than the Nick and Juliette.
annieoParticipantI wondered why Jack did not lift Abby up to the trap door if they thought getting to the trap door would save them (not sure why it WOULD save them, but that’s what they wanted her to do earlier). And Jen basically turned her back to Jack at the end to check on Abby even though she was out the door and he wasn’t. I’m not sure what my reaction would have been had I been in that situation. Jack just basically stood there looking helpless as the doors shut.
annieoParticipantIf there had only been just one, instead of 4 or 5. How many times did they have to show the same thing over and over?
annieoParticipantI never would have guessed that one.
annieoParticipantin the wedding scene? Was that Hope or possibly the person who played Melissa? I have no recollection of that show. I must not have been watching then.
annieoParticipantI was so glad he won this challenge. He has a very elegant design ethic. The only thing I didn’t like, though, about his dress, was that it didn’t come across as very vibrant with colors, although that may have been my TV. But that beige licorice thing was just awful. I was pretty sure Landi was going to lose because she really wasn’t following the challenge, but lord, those three bottom ones were all just butt ugly! I don’t believe I’ve ever seen Nina so animated in her judging. She was really sticking it to the bottom three during their deliberations. I’m also amazed that the Japanese guy is still in it. I guess it was just not quite as bad as the bottom three, but that cotton candy meltdown was horrific.
annieoParticipantIt’s not his looks, it’s the cadence in his voice. I think the Japanese guy is wacko! I don’t see him lasting but a few weeks. They always keep a few around longer than need be for the drama. I thought the white outfit was fabulous as well as the cocktail dress and then he (Ven) didn’t win. Chris wowed them with one dress but not necessarily the other. Always cracks me up to see the judges and what they themselves wear and the hair (red French braids). I know we only see a small portion of their comments which are "honed down" to just enough for TV so we miss alot. I also thought of the bottom two the other one should have been the one to go. I always figure they can see things up closer and I my tv isn’t large nor hi-def so I figure they can see the detail much better, hence their decisions. But I love the show. I just hope Heidi doesn’t get as snarky towards the contestants like she did last year. Supposedly this week two of the designers just pick up and leave in the middle of the night. I read that in TV Guide I think.
annieoParticipantMy tape was programmed and this horrendous, but short-lived storm came through (Central OH), the electric went out about 5:30 and didn’t come on until today (Sat.) at 5 pm. We certainly needed the 3/4" rain we got, but not quite that forceful!
