annieoParticipant
Just watched an interview with Freddie Smith at the Daytime Emmy awards. Interviewer asked about how he got his hair that way and he replied he only used shampoo twice a month and the rest of the time just put water on it and finger combed and messed with it until it looked the way he wanted it. Guess that answers the shampoo question!
annieoParticipantexcept that Tintin’s is red. It was just the way it kinda came up to a point on the top.
annieoParticipantbecause that’s what Mrs. McCluskey did on Desperate Housewives.
annieoParticipantBecause that’s just what Mrs. McCluskey did on Desperate Housewives.
annieoParticipantOr "Me and my husband went to dinner" etc, My husband and I talk about this quite a bit and I commented that I would have to really think about it to say it incorrectly! I never learned to speak like that growing up and I always corrected my kids as well. Now it’s in books, ON THE SOAPS, everywhere you listen! Has it become grammatically correct all of a sudden?
annieoParticipantIt’s a dance competition and of the three, Donald improved the most over the weeks. I found myself saying, I want Katherine to win, then I’d say, no, Donald, no Katherine. I really couldn’t make up my mind. Levy was really eye candy and could really shake his booty. I felt bad for his little boy. He was so upset his dad was eliminated. My only comment on the finale was that Mark almost overshadowed Katherine in the dance. My eyes were drawn to him instead of watching her. He’s a great dancer, but seemed almost over the top to me on Tuesday. Maybe it was the orange coat! I really enjoyed Katherine’s singing before she danced on Monday. That was genius.
annieoParticipantI loved Wayne N. as Roman in the 80’s. Then they brought him back a couple years ago in an awful storyline. He was some weird stalker person or something. Bad, very bad. Seems like "you can’t go home again" rings true alot for these actors that have been gone and then are brought back to very bad storylines – e.g. Kayla, Patch, Jennifer… It may be too early to have an opinion about Shane.
annieoParticipantI thought the food fight was among the children when EJ was helping get them ready for school.
annieoParticipantbut only two by two so as not to call attention to themselves.
annieoParticipantbecause I thought the same thing. And did I hear Roman say there was a beer truck in the alley to pick them up, then they end up at a safe house. Unless the safe house is in a business area of town it would seem odd to have a beer truck unloading people in a residential neighborhood (esp. with blindfolds). "Now, folks, we want you all to still act like you’re grieving." Yeh, right. How many secrets have ever been kept secret in Salem? Like Stephano has no spies. It might have seemed cruel to let them think everyone was dead, but it sure would be awhole lot easier to keep the grieving looking very real. I can see this plan going very wrong.
annieoParticipant"at times?" Had to really laugh at your comment SW.
annieoParticipantEJ told Sami he was "worried" about how Sami and Lucas being together would affect the children. Don’t some of the children belong to Lucas? What a dumb remark.
annieoParticipantThe cast is too small, unless she starts after Will’s friends or goes after the old guys. Everyone else she’s related too. So she’s recycling EJ. It’s the same with the Co-CEO business. They didn’t know what to do with Kate since she lost her company. And we know she couldn’t possibly be without means or a man for more than 24 hours, so make her co-CEO with Madison. At least she has some experience, unlike Sami. The writers better be coming up with better storylines than sex because pretty soon they’re won’t be enough couples to even make couples, let alone triangles.
annieoParticipantof a major international company after being on the job just a couple of months, then Melanie is definitely ready to move into the Chief of Staff position at Salem Univ. Hospital. After all, there will be a vacancy there soon.
annieoParticipantHope’s lavendar dress just looked funereal on her. I tuned in to see what was happening and just kept saying out loud to no one as I was home alone, "this is so stupid, this is so stupid." After the third time of saying that I turned off the TV. Then "stupid" (me) turned it back on again and watched Sami & Lucas for awhile. That irritated me, so I said "that’s it." The stories are just plain crap. Why would Carrie be so in love with Rafe? She hardly knows him. Why would Rafe suddenly become Nicole’s hero and tell EJ he’s the father of the baby? How many paternity tests could possibly be switched in these storylines? How can Sami possibly be civil to EJ and accept an apartment from him after everything he’s done? Has she had a lobotomy? Maybe she needs one. I would think that Alison Sweeney would say "enough is enough" for my character. I can’t say I’ve ever been a Sami fan, but this character has just totally turned me off of her. I can’t even stand to watch when she’s on. I quit watching for weeks. I guess it’s time to do it again. Books on tape are so much better.
