agree that the scenes had a nice romantic tone, and I did love the flashbacks to years past.
bluebonnetParticipantI’m glad they are bringing another writer over from Y&R to help out with the writing duties. Guess we’ll have to stay tuned to see if DH comes back.
bluebonnetParticipantDo you have more details such as whether she will come back?
bluebonnetParticipantthe media goes overboard. Lately, it has been so hot here in Texas. We know it is hot! It is this way every summer. But, the high temps aren’t attention-grabbing enough apparently. The weather people have to lead in with what the heat index is–or what it FEELS like outside. It has been this way since the 60s (?) when the news and weather became a money-making business. Before that, profit wasn’t involved. News was furnished by the government. At least that’s what I think happened to the industry.
bluebonnetParticipantHis exit was sort of abrupt. Guess that is because of the writer change. I’m assuming he is gone for good. I read that Serena is the first of the Salem killer’s victims, so whoever killed her will be killing again.
bluebonnetParticipantAnyone remember pre-Doug when Julie and David were a couple? What a roller coaster that was!
bluebonnetParticipantthe whole lawsuit thing was a lead-in to getting money for Nicole so she could start her own business. The new business could lead to Nicole and Daniel moving out of town. Seems like the whole thing was a possible setup to their leaving the show. I don’t know anything–just speculating.
bluebonnetParticipantI think you might be onto something. Ben’s always had a problem with his temper anyway.
bluebonnetParticipantI’m hoping this will be true for this station all over the whole country. I’m going to check my cable schedule. I watched Schitt’s Creek on Pop TV this spring. Very funny show if any of you haven’t seen it. The second season will come on next year some time I think.
bluebonnetParticipantLoved all the romantic and touching scenes today, including the ones between Hope and Aiden. It was great seeing Hope’s house again, too, including the area around the front porch. Of course, I was scared for Aiden once Clyde showed up. I just knew Clyde was going to stab him or something. So glad he didn’t, but I’m really worried for Aiden. Anyway, the show is super interesting right now–both the happy scenes and the scary ones.
bluebonnetParticipantwere pretty dumb to go the park (where everybody seems to be hanging out these days, even single women by themselves after dark–yes, Marlena, I’m talking to you!) and proceed to have a loud argument about the drugs and JJ’s partnership with the police. Don’t you people know this is a town where everybody finds out secrets by evesdropping?
bluebonnetParticipantHope’s home again. It’s been ages since we’ve seen that set. Wonder what other "old" sets we’ll get to see now.
bluebonnetParticipantAnd not at all camouflaged. I would think someone could spot it right away.
bluebonnetParticipantWonder if it will be more than one person murdered.
bluebonnetParticipantcontinuing to snoop around for information is that she is putting herself and Ciera in danger. Rafe and Victor both have warned her about how dangerous Clyde is and yet she continues to dig for more dirt on him. I know she is a police officer, but the way she is going about trying to find clues doesn’t seem like the proper protocol.
