Participantjust trying to help Brady, but he really should step back and think about what happened when he
tried to helpinterferred with Brady and Kristen. How did that turn out, John? Honestly, his helping never seems to do anything but make things worse.bluebonnet
ParticipantSeems like Alison would have just stayed with Days, but just as part of the directing team. Maybe they didn’t offer her the job.

ParticipantAnd, I almost choked when Jenn started blasting Sami for not telling them that she knew sooner. Poor little Abby had to go through planning Sami’s wedding and everything! Like I’ve said before, Jenn just gets on my last nerve the way she is SO self-righteous.

ParticipantHope moving her head from side to side while they were dancing? Is that the proper way to waltz? Whether it is or not, it seemed awkward for the moment.
I think Hope would have looked better with her hair down so that her neck didn’t look so long. Aiden looked great, though!

ParticipantI bet you are right on the money when it comes to the progression of the storyline. I can see it all now.

ParticipantIn the book, Scarlett had two other children, Wade and Ella, and Rhett was referring to them. They were both pretty meek children. Rhett may have said this about those two children before Bonnie was even born–I can’t remember.

Participantsays about Scarlett and her children in Gone with the Wind? Something about the most hard-bitten characters usually have the mildest children. I can’t remember the quote exactly, but it meant that often parents have children who turn out to be opposites of what they are. Anyway, that reminds me of Eve and Paige for sure!

Participantwait either! I had no clue that Sami has known about EJ and Abby for that long and that she either took the photos or had them done. I love that Days is writing this the way they are. Many story threads woven together and the plot thickens at every turn!

ParticipantThe only thing it had going for it was that it was red, white, and blue. Liked Abby’s dress ok I guess, but didn’t think it was appropriate for a picnic as most of you mentioned–shoes included. I though Adrienne’s yellow and white outfit was great, though. The yellow color looked pretty on her.

Participantweren’t any flashbacks. (There absolutely should have been!) I didn’t mean to imply that. It’s just that the picnic brought back memories to me of July 4ths in the past.

Participantin story lines, but the July 4th picnic was a nice touch–remembering picnics and backyard barbeques from years past. No Brady, Sami, EJ, Hope, Eric, Marlena, Jordan, or Rafe today. Arianna Grace was in a cute little swimsuit, though, and it was good to see Caroline again after many days off screen.

Participantbut Tammy Sue and Clyde??

Participantlooked beautiful on her. And not to be outdone, I think Abby had on the prettiest dress of the day! The florals on the dress looked perfect against the flowers of the garden. Too bad she was miserable, though.

Participantis the ultimate bore. She should have kept the glasses–at least it added a little interest to her.

ParticipantAnd yesterday (or maybe day before yesterday) when Marlena said to EJ: "Why is it always my job to smooth things over with Sami," I actually said out loud to the TV: "Because you are the mother!" Honestly, I know most people get exasperated with Sami, but I get even more exasperated at Marlena most of the time. I think Roman is a much better parent, but agree that both should be at the wedding.
