I get the feeling that Nick doesn’t particularly want to patch things up with Gabi. He did mention helping Gabi and the baby financially, but he seems to be ok without her. He admitted to Gabi that he wasn’t really in love with her. Granted, he says his world is falling apart, but I took that to mean that he lost his job, his "secret" is out in the open, and he is by himself, more than the fact that he lost Gabi.
it quiet because he is afraid if he and Sami expose the dirty cop, it will come out that he was on Stefano’s payroll, so Stefano would probably air the whole Will shooting EJ story. I think that’s why Sami is holding back, too–to protect Will. Now for the other three, they don’t really know Bernadi was dirty–only that Sami had a run-in with him and therefore could have had a motive.
I can’t believe I missed the part of the show in which Chandler M won. Does anyone know of a site that is replaying the awards show?

the whole story line with Jennifer and Daniel that is certainly wearing thin with me. How long have we had to watch these two not get along? I wish they would go completely in another direction with them–give us something else to watch other than one relationship roadblock after another. Good thing the rest of the show is really interesting right now.
that she didn’t want the police to make the connection between Bernardi and her because it might lead them to the whole "stealing of the evidence" caper involving Will. I think she was referring to the time when she saw Bernardi and jumped on him for taking the evidence to Stefano. However, Sami could just avoid that part of the story and say that she saw Bernardi at the mansion or something like that.

As to who might have taken the knife, I’m still remembering that one of the nurses seemed to be kneeling by the wounded Bernardi and sneaking something away. So, I’m thinking it is likely to be a nurse, security guard, or another dirty cop. I think it is unlikely that it is one of the regular characters on Days.
the truth. The only thing I kept wanting her to add was something along the lines of, "You think you did this for Brady’s own good, but do you realize that his seeing you in bed with Kristen would probably have damaged him way more than Kristen could have done by herself."
Kristen and Nicole–not so much about Marlena. Her scenes don’t seem quite as natural as the other two.
I agree with all you said. On the subject of Sami, I thought the same thing about how shooting him in the leg would have stopped him just as much as a bullet in the back. Two other thoughts: 1) Sami seemed more distraught than when she shot EJ. She seemed really shaken up by the whole shooting. I guess it was because she was caught off guard seeing that man holding a knife over Rafe, but Sami has always felt pretty comfortable around a gun before. 2) I may have seen it wrong, but did one of the nurses pick up something and rush out the hospital room with it just as the doctors were getting the victim out of the room and onto a stretcher? I thought maybe she was getting rid of the razor. Anyone else see that?
And as to your P.S.: Hope better get home and take care of her own family. Wonder when was the last time she actually saw Ciera much less spend time with her. Hope has gotten to be an annoying cop and an totally absent mother.
Daniel went way overboard with his treatment of JJ–especially since right after that episode, Parker was left alone in his room for the longest time. Jennifer kept saying how you shouldn’t ever take your eyes off a child, but she and Daniel were doing just that!
on this site the other day that the French Open was going to preempt Days on Thurs and Friday. I didn’t get it today.
Will Roberts Horton (for Lucas). I don’t know why they wouldn’t have it that way on the birth certificate or did they? Was it Robert or Roberts? I can’t remember.
And, does anyone know how long the show plans to have Nick on the show this time? Yesterday the whole thing between Nick and Gabi just seemed so final–it just made me think that maybe they were going to send Nick off somewhere. I just hope it’s that they have another story line for him. I like that actor!
