She took it very well, but Joshua was crying buckets.
bluebonnetParticipantI so want Carrie and Austin to get back together and then leave town. I want Rafe to get with Nicole anyway, though at this point, I’m not sure I would wish Rafe on her. His character has been smudged plus that would make her feel like a second choice.
bluebonnetParticipantI’m mad at those people in the safe house myself. How cruel is that they made everyone think they were dead for two days? What if someone couldn’t take the bad news and tried to hurt themselves or something? I don’t think catching Stefano or anything else would be important enough to put your loved ones through that kind of grief unnecessarily. Marlena was the only one in the bunch that mentioned they couldn’t do such a horrible thing to their loved ones, but that comment just sort of got swept under the rug.
bluebonnetParticipantIt seems like she has been gone for way more than a year.
bluebonnetParticipantHow could Harmon misunderstand "take care of them?" I would have interpreted that the same way Harmon did. How stupid that Stefano said he really didn’t mean to kill them when he said to take care of them.
bluebonnetParticipantWonder why the fire department didn’t find the secure basement when they were scouring the site after the bomb went off. Surely the trap door either burned up, blew off, or at least could be seen.
bluebonnetParticipantTotally! Especially the part about getting in another room and calling the bomb squad! I am laughing as I write this because the whole situation is so absurd!
bluebonnetParticipantthe other day that when he got through with Brady, Madison would be ready to kick him out. I think he has drugs that will turn Brady mean, such as yesterday when he (Brady) snapped at Madison and told her to be quiet. So, it looks like Ian doesn’t want to give her the divorce, for whatever reason. And, I agree with you–why doesn’t Madison just persue this on her on? I know before Ian said he would destroy Brady if she did that, but why not now?
bluebonnetParticipantcaring so much for his fiancee when Sami first called him. He must have been carrying a torch for Sami (at least a little bit) all along, so when she called him, that torch lit up again.
Now, Sami is another story. I can’t explain why she’s so fickle!
bluebonnetParticipantabout Skylar’s first song, Fortunate Son, was that instead of singing it like the angry protest anthem that it is, she jumped around, smiled, and sang it like she was at a happy hoedown!
bluebonnetParticipantStefano’s father looked exactly like E.J. Remember the flashback scenes with him and Colleen (Sami) a few years ago? Maybe Alice was mistaken and E.J. really is Stefano’s son and then Stefano finds out only after he completely disowns E.J.
bluebonnetParticipantShe was talking out of both sides of her mouth all over the place. Not only did she say go/don’t go, but she also told Rafe she didn’t want to hear another word from him, stomped off, then seconds later got mad at him because he isn’t up front with her and never tells her the whole story. Which is it, Carrie? Do you want him to explain/talk to you or not?? She just gets on my last nerve all the way around!
bluebonnetParticipantI even thought that same thing yesterday when Carrie and Rafe had been included all of a sudden. Now, reading this scene-by-scene, practically everyone in Salem DOES visit the safe house at one time or another. What kind of safe house is this?
bluebonnetParticipantHave you all noticed that Steven uses "over the top" like it is a compliment? I have always used it like Casey did when she commented on Joshua–like it is "to an excessive degree," or "too exaggerated."
bluebonnetParticipantso special either, Casey. I didn’t get excited about any of the Queen songs. Elise was the only one I really enjoyed of the whole night! Well, and I sort of liked Jessica’s second song–Dance with My Father.
