Stefano’s father looked exactly like E.J. Remember the flashback scenes with him and Colleen (Sami) a few years ago? Maybe Alice was mistaken and E.J. really is Stefano’s son and then Stefano finds out only after he completely disowns E.J.

She was talking out of both sides of her mouth all over the place. Not only did she say go/don’t go, but she also told Rafe she didn’t want to hear another word from him, stomped off, then seconds later got mad at him because he isn’t up front with her and never tells her the whole story. Which is it, Carrie? Do you want him to explain/talk to you or not?? She just gets on my last nerve all the way around!

I even thought that same thing yesterday when Carrie and Rafe had been included all of a sudden. Now, reading this scene-by-scene, practically everyone in Salem DOES visit the safe house at one time or another. What kind of safe house is this?

Have you all noticed that Steven uses "over the top" like it is a compliment? I have always used it like Casey did when she commented on Joshua–like it is "to an excessive degree," or "too exaggerated."

so special either, Casey. I didn’t get excited about any of the Queen songs. Elise was the only one I really enjoyed of the whole night! Well, and I sort of liked Jessica’s second song–Dance with My Father.

we saw in Nicole might have also been due to all the extreme closeups they had of her during the show. Of course she is a very beautiful woman, and I do think they might have done something different with her makeup, but I think her eyes looking bigger and our noticing a difference might have been because the camera was so close.

this afternoon and saw him. I thought it was interesting that he and Brooke Burns, who played the lead in the movie, acted together on North Shore. That was the TV series that Phillip was on when he left Days the first time around. Also, did you notice that new Belle was one of the bridesmaids in the movie? I kept looking at her trying to place her and then realized who it was. And we thought she was sailing around the world with Shawn D. and Claire!

new hairstyle either, but loved his conversation with Gabby yesterday. He is such a level-headed young man in spite of the rollercoaster childhood he has had. (I hope they don’t turn him to the dark side!) In fact, I love it when the show focuses on friendships, such as Melanie and Abby, Will and Sonny, and now Gabby and Will. It reminds me of the conversations that Hope and Jennifer have had in the past.

The vacancy will probably be filled by Melanie or Lexie’s brother, who looks like he barely got out of medical school.

How many of us would reject a child we thought was our own if we found out that he/she wasn’t? Nary a one of us I bet! There is no way I could stop loving the children I have raised from birth, or boyhood in Stefano’s and E.J.’s case. Stefano found out Tony wasn’t his son and treated him like crap, but grieved at his death. You would think Stefano would have learned his lesson after that. Wonder if he will reject his beloved grandchildren, too!

It’s getting clearer and clearer that it’s all about popularity. I think that’s why Jessica was "out" (until she was saved) last week. Skylar is my least favorite, too, so hope she goes home. I liked Hollie a lot more last night and ditto for Phillip, though he has been my favorite for a while. I thought that was an odd remark that Joshua made to J Lo about her abs, but of course she ate it up. I didn’t like Colton at all last night. My pick for the bottom three tonight are Colton, Jessica, and Skylar, though I’m sure I’ll be wrong!

Maybe Sami will hire Lucas if the rumors are right that Stefano makes her head of Countess W. But, who asks Lucas to go against Sami–Ian?

I’m thinking that it may have something to do with how the judges treat the contestants. It’s almost as if the voters deliberately reject someone that the judges push. Look what happened to falsetto guy. The judges don’t seem to do the singers any favors by bragging on them too much. Maybe voters also felt like Jessica was getting too confident since the whole world raved over her since the beginning. Also, I think voters tend to vote for a contestant based on charisma and personality rather than strickly a good voice. Sometimes I can’t explain why I like one singer over another. I know it isn’t just voice alone. These are just speculations, though. Maybe it is just that this group of singers is so good that it is hard for ANYONE to get the boot. Question: will two people get voted off next week?

And p.s., I don’t see how Skylar stays every week either. Guess she has a big following somewhere.
