I posted something similar on the Main Board about the writers not meaning for the scene to be passionate. You said it very well, loritroll. And, I, too, think Will was outstanding today. The looks on his face, especially when Sami came home showed what a great actor he is. I’m going to really enjoy the next few weeks when he confronts his mother and has to deal with his feelings of anger toward her.
bluebonnetParticipantwant the scene to come across as sexy. They wanted us to realize that attraction, love, and seduction didn’t have anything to do with that scene and boy did they ever succeed!

Everything was completely believable up to EJ and Sami’s kiss, but the sudden attraction between the two of them seemed out of left field. It was a disjointed segue from one situation to the other.
bluebonnetParticipantthe other day with Carrie’s necklace changing from one scene to the next!
bluebonnetParticipantNadia should have faced the issue herself and nipped it in the bud. Instead, she takes a passive-aggressive approach and calls Brandon. She had to know that wouldn’t end well nor would it solve the problem.
bluebonnetParticipantwith Sami today on the subject of Marlena. Marlena has always put John first–to the point of ridiculousness! Everything Sami said was true, and I for one was cheering her on. If my grandchild were missing, I’d be right there with my daughter to show my concern or at least be at the police station to find out more information.
bluebonnetParticipantoutstanding in that gray printed dress/top with leggings. That amber and gray necklace was so unusual and perfect for the outfit. Her hair looked great, too. On to another outfit–did anyone else think that Carrie’s red low-cut dress and red tights were inappropriate for the courtroom?
bluebonnetParticipanthave one of those "boots" on in one episode a while back.
bluebonnetParticipantI loved it that Nicole had on practically no makeup–just a tiny bit of mascara on one eye left over from the night before, just like it would be in real life. She is beautiful with or without makeup. Great scene with the two of them today.
bluebonnetParticipanton Friday’s show? She was wearing a cream-colored blouse with green ivy and flowers on it. When she was at Sami’s house, she had on a dark green necklace with the blouse, but when she appeared a few minutes later at the police station, she had on a light green and tan necklace. A little while later at John and Marlena’s, she had on the dark green necklace again! Other than the switch-a-roo, I loved the look on her.
November 1, 2011 at 1:24 pm in reply to: Just realized something about Maggie turning out to be Daniel’s mom #28229bluebonnetParticipantlike it would be a betrayal to his parents if he accepted Maggie as his mother. I tried to put myself in his shoes yesterday and realized that I might react the same way. Hearing that your mother is not who you thought she was after so many years would be extremely shocking and upsetting–at least to me.
bluebonnetParticipantsaid that about your trees coming back out. We have some here in Texas that are doing the same thing right now! I guess the drought and heat really did confuse them. Yes, I wish we did have some of your water. Seems all over the U.S. people are getting too much or not enough.

bluebonnetParticipanthas been so crazy! I live in Central Texas and the drought and heat this summer broke all records. Our local newspaper today said that October snowfall records could be broken in parts of southern New England. It said the October snow record for New England is 7.5 inches in Worcester, MA in 1979. Let us know if it breaks that record. Sorry about the leaves. I was thinking the other day that I would like to travel to New England to see the beautiful fall leaves. We don’t have much of that at all around here. Anyway, after this past summer, all of our trees are just dead.
bluebonnetParticipantabout that scene was the fact that Marlena was pressuring Sami to come and see John and take the kids with her. Marlena knows that she and John are in a dangerous position since people are angry at them. Why would she put Sami and the children in harm’s way just to make John feel better? Agreed that Sami has been quick to accuse John, but in her eyes, he was probably manipulated into doing it. I don’t think Marlena makes that distinction. To her, anyone who thinks John might be guilty is thinking that he just did it to be greedy. She hasn’t recognized the fact that John might have committed the crime, but either didn’t know he was doing it or was brainwashed into doing it.
