a lot of crybabies in that family. I can’t imagine a big, bad, tough dude like Patch crying over what he did. Just not realistic at all. Same with Joey. He might shed a few tears when he’s by himself but out there in the Square, I doubt it. I think the writers are trying way too hard to give us some emotion but, IMO, it’s falling flat.

I kind of like her. But I fear there will be something develop between her and Brady.

is why she isn’t telling Hope she was raped. At least tell US why she hasn’t..

Good for her. It’s just too bad women had to go to such extremes to make their feelings be recognized.

but that was in the early 50s when nothing would have been done about it if I had told anybody.

about Theo’s functioning. It is well known that people with autism have difficulty showing empathy but he was very sympathetic and compassionate to Ciara yesterday.

As to the rape…did he or didn’t he? We really don’t know if Chase actually raped her or not. I have a feeling the writers are just trying to make us THINK he did but it’s going to turn out he didn’t actually go through with it. I’m sure, to a young girl, even getting close could be just as (or very nearly as) traumatic. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what really transpired.

This may be TMI for some but when I was around 12 or 13 there was a boy in our neighborhood that would ambush me when I got off the bus after school and grab a hold of me, push me up against the house and rub himself up against me. He was bigger and stronger than me so I was too afraid to haul off and whack him but I just kept trying to push him away until he’d finally give up. (Thinking back on it now I just wonder if he only quit once he was “satisfied”. I didn’t know about those things back then.) This went on for two years. I never told anybody because I was too embarrassed and humiliated but my point is that, although it was far, far from being rape, it still bothers me to this day, 60+ years later.

to help Jenn realize her addiction and get her on the road to recovery. And I hope she can do it by herself instead of having to go to AA/NarcAnon. We’ve got too many alcoholics/drug addicts already…Maggie, Brady, Lucas, Theresa, Nicole and some others who SHOULD be included because they always have a drink in their hand, no matter what time of day it is.

you hit the nail squarely on the head. I absolutely agree with you 200%.

As far as older children treating their parents with respect, I would expect that but teens really, for the most part, haven’t yet gotten to the point of understanding that. Unless, of course, they have been taught to do so.

but what if they weren’t actually killed? What if AndrĂ© whisked the body away as the Dimeras are wont to do, and healed him all up and now is returning him to the scene? Stranger things have happened before. I always revert to Dr. Rolph. How many times was that character killed off yet kept coming back? More times than the Phoenix. Heck, more times than even Rasputin.

but I have never felt Ciara is that bad an actor. Other than talking through her teeth (which could use correction) I think she is just fine. I think how she acts is merely her individual personality and I don’t have a problem with her at all, in fact, I quite like her.

makes a guy a sleaze. I think you’d be very surprised at how many men, yes, even moral up-standing men, enjoy that kind of thing. And as far as being with several women, why not? He’s single, he’s attractive, he might as well play the field. If you don’t hit it off with someone, move on until you do. People used to call Daniel a whore because he did the same thing but it’s perfectly a natural thing to do, IMO.

She made me cry again. She certainly does play the grief well.

because he was such a popular character when he was on the other show for so long…can’t remember which one it was but he has become a real bump on a log here.
