This is the little guy on the Subaru commercials where the dad offers him the family car to drive. Super little actor. I hope we get to see a lot of him.

As for being blonde, my husband had (I say had because every single hair on his head is silvery white now) very dark black hair and mine is brown and both kids were blondes when they were little. One changed to be much darker and the other remained blonde. Probably a throw-back from the Scandinavian in me.

Victor hired the best doctors money can buy and he grew a new one! :o)

I just wonder how long before we see Brady without his shirt on but no chest scar. My cardiac by-pass scar is pretty long so I can only imagine a transplant would be at least that long…or longer. Gee, does this mean we can’t see Brady shirtless any more? Pity!

When I was in my 30’s my niece’s teen-aged boyfriend professed his “love” for me. He asked me to go to dinner because he said he’d like to talk to me. Naïve me thought it was to get advice about my niece. But in the middle of dinner he gave me a gold necklace (which he ultimately gave to my niece) and told me how he felt. OMG! I was newly divorced and I supposed that made me more attractive to him. Anyway, it was heart-breaking to have to make him realize it was just a crush he would get over while trying not to hurt him…BUT…I don’t think that is what Ava is doing. She is leading him on with all her sweet, endearing names, touching him, etc. She needs to put her foot down and tell him to get over it, it ain’t gonna happen and then end it. And as Cesar Milan would say, “no touch, no talk, no eye contact.” :o)

Personally, all the scenes with those two turns my stomach, seriously. What’s with the writers, first doing the cougar story with JJ and Eve and now this horrible mess? One of them must have gone through it when he was a teen.

Come to think of it, I went through the same thing. I remember having a crush on my Civics teacher and then when I was a little older (17?) the guy I sat next to in the church choir. Looking back now, I wonder, what in the heck…! Neither one was even attractive.

you do not become an addict unless you ARE an addict. The normal person who takes controlled substances over a long period of time becomes “dependent,” not addicted. The difference is that the addict will do anything, particularly illegal means to get the drugs.

So I don’t expect to see Jenn become “addicted.” Although, knowing Days, anything is possible. Maybe we’ll see her all dressed in black breaking into a pharmacy in the middle of the night to get her “fix.” :o)

Anybody remember the Frank Sinatra movie, ‘The Man With the Golden Arm’? That made a very powerful impression on me at my tender young age and may have kept me from ever taking illegal drugs through my early years. It’s worth renting if you haven’t seen it. Especially the withdrawal scenes. In fact, when I was on chemo, my friends tried to get me to smoke some weed to help relieve the nausea and I locked myself in the bathroom to do it, even then I was still scared to death I was going to get caught.

the last time I was in Tahoe they had about 12″ and it was really fun watching it come down and going out to shovel. It was so beautiful and quiet. You could hear a dog barking several blocks away. But as long as it stays there, it is just fine with me. We are getting a lot of rain here but at least you don’t have to shovel it. :o)

That happened to me once when my pills were delayed in the mail (that’s the only way I can get them). I went two days without and, let me tell you, it was absolute hell. Horrible nightmares, sweating, can’t sleep, can’t stay awake. Can’t sit down, can’t lie down, can’t stand up, nothing makes you comfortable. I have saved a few in a stash in case that ever happens again so I don’t ever have to go through that again. And the longer you take them, the longer it takes to wean off.

thrown a blanket or something over it to disguise it at least a little bit.

Something else strange is Ava’s hotel room. Pretty nicely appointed with all the extras, even unusual for a residence inn. Check out the box on the dresser.

I could save them a whole lot more money. The first thing that would go is the fresh flowers in everybody’s home and the hospital. How many people even notice? There are also a lot of props in the houses and offices that are changed seeming monthly that, again, who notices…beside me, that is?

They spend a lot on props to contribute to the reality that could be done away with, real-looking invoices, letters, newspapers, hospital reports, documents, jewelry, hair extensions (there seems to have been an explosion of them since the fashion show, Theresa’s hair grew a good six inches overnight.) Anyway, there are a lot of places they could cut costs if absolutely necessary.

couch has the pillows that matched Victor’s couch. But since the renovation, they are now gone. Geeze, Victor has had that couch for at least 25 years now, you’d think he could afford a new one once in a while.

I’ll have to check out “Mom’s” couch.

my hearing isn’t as good as it could be so I always use the CC. I could never understand half the things many of them say if I didn’t. I’ve noticed in the past six months or so, the actors seem to do a lot more in a whispering voice than they used to and I wondered how people knew what they were saying.

For one reason is it hits close to home. After all my surgeries last year that has left me handicapped, I am on morphine six times a day and it is a real concern for me. Eventually, you become accustomed to them and they don’t give you the pain relief they once did and it is very difficult to keep from wanting to amp up the dosage for better relief. My pain management doctor tells me I will not get addicted but you do become dependent. An addiction results in illegal activities, etc. just to get more pills.

Florida has instituted some very strict rules for getting and using controlled substances (much to the dismay of those who really need them as opposed to the addicts) so it will be interesting to see whether or not they will take them into consideration. It was to curb the pill mills but has hurt the honest users more than anything else.

it was just so obvious from the anxious look on her face. But, the question is, why she did it.

I don’t like him at all.

And what’s with Belle’s extreme sexual drive. She was never like that before.
