…Victor would be the winner, hands down.  He does have a lot of zingers.

I heard this from someone "in the soaps business."  Do you know why they show the men without their shirts so much?  I’ll bet you’ll say because the girls like to see them, huh?  Nope!  It’s to attract the gay guys to the soaps.  Surprised?  I was.

That really made me laugh.  I was hearing William Shatner as I was reading it.  Great, now everytime Daniel talks, I will be listening for his phrasing.

letter-with-my-lawyer-in-case-anything-ever-happens-to-me.  Otherwise, I’m sure he would just have Guido (or whomever his present goon is) prepare an unfortunate accident for her.  But what the tape contains…I haven’t a clue.

Speaking of Madeline…would someone PLEASE do something with her hair!!!!  With her long thin face, that flat, straight hairdo is SO unbecoming to her.  (I keep expecting her to whinny!)  Give her some fluff and a hairpiece if necessary.  Heck, pull Kate’s off her bald head even and stick on Maddy.

they would redeem Nicole will be sorely disappointed.  I didn’t really want her redeemed entirely but I did think it would be interesting to continue to pair her with EJ where they weren’t entire evil and dastardly (like she is now) but dancing around the fringe of really being bad guys.  Alas, that was not to be.

Chloe’s dalliance with Philip is really none of Carly’s business.  However, Stephanie trapping Nathan by getting pregnant could ruin the rest of his life.  He definitely needs to know where it wouldn’t affect Daniel one way or the other if he never finds out.

I just finished reading The Sunday Philosophy Club which presents a multitude of ethical questions and the one Carly is facing is certainly a good one for discussion.  There are excellent reasons on both sides for whether she should or should not tell Daniel.  I can see where the case could be logically and ethically argued either way.

That doesn’t have a VCR or DVR?  I doubt it.

She was just as bad this time as before.  Fortunately for us, her dance was very short.  I didn’t know anybody could be that terrible at dancing.  I thought my brother was the worst dancer in the world but he was much better than Kate.  Although I will say, her personality while she had the mike was 100% better.  I think maybe someone from one of the shows she’s been appearing on has given her some "celebrity" lessons.  Or maybe TLC is mentoring her to get higher ratings when her new show starts.

BTW, I wonder why Jon relented in letting the kids appear on TV again.  I guess he figured he couldn’t support them, he’d better let Kate do it any way she could.  The season starts with the sextuplets’ sixth birthday.  I’m looking forward to seeing those little cuties again.

Amen!  This is the first season I would have been happy if any of the three had won.  I thought they were all fantastic…but…Nicole was just a tad fantasticer.

the can’t-ever-get-pregnant card and then have the women turn up pregnant?  Disgusting.  (Although I’d love to see Chloe and Daniel have a baby.

Boy, do I ever agree with you!  That remark hit me right between the eyes and I instantly thought how inappropriate it was.  I don’t think a soap is anyplace at all to insert one’s (writers’, producer’s, actors’, or whomever it belonged to) political views.  I really think TPTB owe us viewers an apology for that.  To me that is every bit as bad as making a disparaging remark about one’s race or religion and I’m sure they would never do that.

The actors know they have no control over the script or dialogue and understand that their fans realize this also so it doesn’t bother them when the storylines go astray.  Their only job is to do the best they can with what is written for them and we know all the cast does this exceedingly well.  Just think, how often do we dis on the actual acting?  Not very.

if Stephanie actually gets pregnant, I’m going to be seriously pissed.  Do the writers think we need more Horton’s now that Alice is gone?  Not a good way to do it.  I may have to join the ranks of Stephanie-haters if this happens.

to have used that symbol.  Maybe one of them had a tattoo of it in their mug shot.   Besides, I don’t think you’d necessarily need to be that particular ethnicity to use one of their symbol.  I mean, look how popular the shamrock is.  They may have just liked the look of it while disregarding it’s meaning.  Yeah, plot device, plot device…

and how much it’s bothering him and thought, why should he be so guilt-ridden with all the girls he’s bedded.  Then it occured to me, Philip’s never been unfaithful to anybody (that I can think of…correct me if I’m wrong).  He was very true when he was married to Belle and I don’t remember him even harboring any lust for anyone while he was in a relationship.  Philip is one of the few people on the show without multiple marriages.
