Participantthat Carly is only using telling Daniel as a threat to get Chloe to tell him herself? I know, we want to think the worst of her but, if the writers had enough imagination…hah!, she may just be trying to get Chloe to come clean on her own and actually has no intention of tattling herself. Okay, okay, just a thought.

ParticipantYou are mostly right about juvenile records being sealed but that is rapidly changing. As of now, 21 states will allow the admission of a juvenile record to be brought out in serious cases. Is serial mugging a serious case? Who knows.
But you’re absolutely right about Hope revealing Ari’s record to Brady. That alone could be an excellent basis for a good attorney (EJ?) to get the entire case thrown out. And that just may be what happens. Although Hope is supposedly such a good cop, she should know better.

ParticipantThe woman with the long blonde hair is in Flash Forward but I stopped watching that after a couple of weeks and I didn’t watch the last four years of Lost so I don’t know who the other one would be but at least you’re right about one of them.

ParticipantFirst of all, an in dept syno0psis would be impossible. The show from the very beginning was way out there and most things (very much like Days) were unexplainable. I watched the first two years but eventually gave up on it because nothing made sense. But, from reading some stuff on AOL’s news page, I think I discovered what happened, although fans are disagreeing amongst themselves over the meaning of the ending. I took it to mean that they all died in the plane crash in the first eppisode and for whatever reason, they were stuck in a not-heaven-not-hell universe which is where everything happened. The doctor (can’t remember his name) was the last (after talking to his father) to ‘let go’ and, as they say, ‘go to the light.’ It was a good enough explanation for me and probably the ONLY way they could possible end it. I think it was kind of like JR’s shower scene.
Hope that helps.

ParticipantI’ve always tried to keep up with "what’s happening" in the world. Believe it or not, when MTV first came on the air, I was an insatiable fan. I’m also a trivia fanatic so my poor little brain is filled with useless facts and information. I even tried out for Jeopardy. (The test questions they ask you are all $2000 ones and you have to get 80% right just to go to the next step!!!)
Anyway, thanks for the kind words.

ParticipantWelcome to DAA (Day’s Addicts Anonymous)
We feel your pain. Be strong and take one day at a time.

ParticipantWell, Bret won. I don’t know how much of it was on the sympathy vote because apparently he appeared at the finale against his doctor’s directions and you tell he was in pretty much pain. But, as he said after seeing Holly in that dress (and she DID look absolutely gorgeous), he’d take it any way he could get it.
Now, I just hope his health returns and he can live out a long a happy life. I was very impressed with Bret and probably in good company of those who never thought he’d last a week.

Participant…about learning to win and lose gracefully. When I was a kid (in the 40s and before TV), my brother, my friends, and I played games all the time. It’s when I learned to be a good loser but to also be a good winner. And I can’t tell you how many times the phrase "Cheaters never win and winners never cheat" was invoked. I also think they were valuable in learning math and other skills. I know the computer games the kids play now also teach a lot but I wish kids would also go back to the board games, if nothing more than to have the social interaction with other kids.
Sorry to be waxing nostalgic but there are so many valuable things that have been lost as the years progress and I just feel that the kids are losing out because of it. Captain May I; Red Light, Green Light; Hide and Go Seek; Red Rover, Red Rover; Cops and Robbers; and even Cowboys and Indians. (Maybe not PC anymore but…it was certainly a lot of fun.) How many of us "older" folks can remember being in the middle of an exciting game when the street lights came on (the universal signal that the day was over and the bath tub awaited us) and we had to quit and go home? Do any kids these days ever experience that?

ParticipantI don’t see anything wrong with a kid playing poker. Heck, when I was as young as 10, we used to sit on the porch steps and play roulette all summer long. And that’s a betting game. Of course we used chips and not money. I’m sure they were doing the same. Also my family was big on card playing. When I was a teenager, my mom (a widow) would often get the guys in the kitchen for a "friendly little poker game" and they all loved her for it. In fact, although it annoyed me at the time, it was one of the reasons everybody always gathered at my house…always! My engagement party even ended up in a poker game.
I don’t believe he knew entirely what he was doing because remembering the hands would be very difficult for a kid that age but I’m sure they were ‘helping’ him. The only evils of poker are what results from the money lost by people who can’t afford to lose it. In fact, I’d say it would be beneficial for a kid to learn to play, if only for the skills it involves. And it would be invaluable if he ever goes into the military service. JMO

ParticipantYeah, me too and I’m 70 years old!
But you’re so right. Look at the few scenes he’s had with Arianna and there were sparks flying between them also. I think James Scott just has that ability to connect with whomever he is with. I’ll bet he could even light up Caroline.

ParticipantHer walking in, looking at the mail, making herself right at home when Bo wasn’t even anywhere around just seemed very wrong to me. Although, Hope was the one who decided to leave, so I guess I can’t feel that sorry for her.
And, you know, I’m really beginning to wonder if they intend to ever get them back together again. I almost have the feeling this could be a permanent situation. The only way I see Bo leaving Carly now is if Carly does something really bad to him or Ciera.

Participanthe didn’t suggest she had a sex addiction. He sugggested sex "therapy." I don’t think you necessarily have to have an addiction (if there actually IS such a thing as sex addiction) to benefit from sex therapy.
I saw two doctors on The Doctors debating whether or not sex addiction is an actual affliction. They both had a lot of good points to support their opinions. But either way, I don’t believe Chloe is a sex addict. Mental problems, yes, and did she really believe that her and Daniel’s one visit to a therapist was going to cure everything? OMG! Add dilusional to her list.
