so that can’t be the problem.  I should use my VCR too, it’s much more reliable, but it’s just such a pain to switch back and forth.

A friend of mine has the AT&T U-verse and says it’s the greatest thing but it’s not available in my area.  I live in a new development and I guess we don’t have the proper lines to accomodate it.  I was going to get DirectTV but when they came out to install it they wanted an extra $250 for each connection (I have four) to run the wires up in the attic.  WTH!  Did they think I wanted wires running all over my walls and ceilings?  Installation is supposed to be free but they pointed out the small print where it says "normal" installation is free.  What a racket.  I hate my cable company but I don’t feel I have any choice.

All they can do is bring you a new one and I’ve got lots of hours on of things I haven’t seen yet that I’d lose.  Technology…grrr…

For some reason my DVR decided not to record Days today.  Why does it do that?  It records every other day, I haven’t changed anything, even another program.  Is it haunted?  Or is God punishing me for something?  Guess I’ll have to go dig it up on the internet somewhere and watch.  I saw the last 10 minutes but that was it.

when she would have supposedly been pregnant with Chad, she sure hid it well.  Sorry, I don’t see any way that Chad could be Kate’s.

but not right.  Of course Elvis was famous for arching his eyebrow.

I guess that’s like curling your tongue.  Some people can do it, some can’t.

once you have that kind of schedule and take a 10-hour work day out of it (once I retired), you come up with lots of extra time.  I actually have trouble finding something worthwhile to watch.  I don’t think there are that many interesting programs on, especially on network TV.  I have about one program each  night that I can say I really like.  Other than that, I watch mostly stuff on cable.

I don’t remember what night it’s on because I watched it on DVR last night but it’s on at 10:00 (I think) on CBS.

It’s easy to set the scenerio but it’s the hard part making everything else fit.  But thanks for the compliment.  Here, I’ll share my Carafate with you.  :o)

and I’m assuming the guy next to Lucas is the newly recast Bill Horton.

it would be that Chad would turn out to be EJ’s son (unbeknownst to him, of course).  He’s certainly old enough to father him, maybe in college.  It would explain the resemblance.  The only problem is, that would NOT explain anything about the relationship between Madeline and Kate which is what the speculation of this thread is about in the first place.  But, it would be interesting to find out EJ has another kid.  He could become Sami’s counterpart in the baby-making department!

    Remember, Nathan is Stephanie’s "destiny."  <extreme sarcasm>

I’d kinda like to see what would happen with Rafe and Nicole (if she can’t be with EJ).  It could be the reverse of Bo and Hope with the girl being the "bad boy" this time.  And we know how frequently they hook up two people who dislike each other at first.

I don’t know, I think this show is becoming like a hillbilly family…it needs some fresh blood in the gene pool.

is like an entry level position, a glorified gofer, and yes, they would get coffee and do anything else the reporter requires.  Their job is to take care of anything that needs to be done.  And, no, she definitely would NOT be running the camera.  This link has a good description.

Plus, it’s not like she’s a PA on a TV show, she’s just starting on on a local news program, the lowliest of the low.  It doesn’t pay very well either.

When I was interviewed for the news for the pillow thingie, there was only the reporter and camerman (no PA) and the entire interview was determined by the reporter, where we stood, camera angles, etc.  But then remember…this is DOOL!

On another note, Nicole seems to be doing a very good job for not having any experience.  She appears to be the real thing.

wouldn’t be much different than the young studs they’ve paired Kate with.  When she first got together with Nicholas Alamain, I almost barfed.  And then EJ?  Ewwww….

It said the ratings dropped a good amount when Kate was voted off.  I guess they make a good choice when they picked her to dance.  DWTS has been the top rated show the last four weeks, even beating out AI.  I wonder what will happen now.  Now Jake is gone and I think Neicey will be next (although I thought before it would be Pamela).

I guess I didn’t look close enough and just assumed it was Allison.  Wonder where she is.
