ParticipantThank you!

ParticipantI’m always afraid people might think I’m on here all day long but it’s like one of like my old "cigarette breaks." Instead of smoking (BTS, it’s been 25 years now), now I sit down at the computer for a couple of minutes. Like you, I’m also disappointed when there’re no messages. What does that say about my sad life?

ParticipantI had to do a double take on that one. Her hair looks very short.

ParticipantAll she does is stand there and "pose." She’s probably an okay dancer but just looking at her makes me want to barf. I say…"Off with her head!"

Participantwho ARE interested in her life. I am one of those. I’ve watched Jon and Kate + 8 since the beginning and, just like the soaps, you become invested in their lives. While I never thought Kate was the best wife in the world, I though she did an excellent job with the kids. She always put their well-being first (which may be why the marriage failed) and, IMO, was a good mother.
And then everything falls apart, with no visable means of support for her family, and the expensive lifestyle they became accustomed to. Then Jon starts whoring around and it gets plastered all over the place. I mean, anybody with a half an ounce of empathy would be concerned for her. She’s a nurse, how is she going to provide for eight kids on a nurse’s salary with her ex unemployed (and probably most probably, unemployable).
I was rooting for her because I knew being on the show could build her self-esteem, make her some money, and possibly put her on the road to show business which would provide them with a reasonable income. But I was sorely disappointed. I just don’t think she has what it takes. Maybe her new show on TLC will make it. She seems to do a good job with the cameras being around her so…we’ll see.

ParticipantNot another "who’s-the-daddy" story. We’ve had enough to last a decade. It might make me do something drastic!
I really hate that Chloe and Phil did the deed. Not particularily for Mel and Phil’s sake, but for Chloe and Daniel. I was so hoping their relationship could remain untainted and happy, at least for five minutes.

Participantthat caused this personality change. And, poor ol’ Baker, he sure is the epitome of a Hard-Luck-Charlie, isn’t he. I’m surprised he ever made it through med school. He should stay faaaaar away from the women of Salem. Can you imagine if he should get involved with Sami, or Vivian, or Katei? OMG! And I’m not so sure that won’t happen (Sami).
He is a very strange character/personality/demeanor, whatever. He is very attractive (although a bit on the "large" size) but yet he has this kinda sinister look about him and I’m not so sure it’s his acting. Anybody know him from another role somewhere and how he compares to Baker?

ParticipantFirst of all, I don’t believe she could ever have become a judge with that background. And surely the writers can’t be that dense to try to make us swallow Kate having yet another kid. I could buy Chad being a Dimera but with a different mother and only if Stefano and EJ knew nothing about it. Maybe EJ had a one-night stand (ala Carly and Daniel) while he was in college. But as to how Madeline and Kate know each other, that’s a complete mystery to me and I can’t even speculate. But, whatever it is, I’m sure it’s going to be nasty. Muahahaha.

ParticipantI thought she was dead. Where is she supposed to have been?
And, thanks!

ParticipantOn second look, I see that’s Shane behind Lexie but still can’t place the woman. She almost looks like Addie but that can’t be.

ParticipantIs it because they’re Bradys and not Hortons? Still, they were very close to Alice. And interesting they have Hope standing with Justin instead of Bo. Could it be they don’t intend to ever put them back together? Where’s Carly? And who is that standing next to Lexie and the man behind her? I can’t place them. If that’s the new Bill Horton behind Laura…WOW! Let’s keep him around. BTW, Laura, Jen and Carrie, still look great, don’t they?

Participantbut I think Vic and Maggie could be very a interesting pairing. Although I’m certainly not interested in seeming them pawingg and slobbering all over each other (like the younger ones do) but I think a long and flirtatious courtship could be very interesting. It wouldn’t have to be a mainline storyline but just something that slowly develops. I actually see some very faint sparks there when they’re together.

ParticipantThanks for jogging my memory. But now what’s EJ going to do when he comes to, realizing that Baker is not dead after all. Unless he and Hope decide to kidnap him. Now wouldn’t THAT be a switch. It’d really be funny to watch EJ as a captive. But I’m sure the writers don’t have that much imagination.
But I’m certainly interested in where this hook-up of Baker and Hope is going and what Hope has in mind for him. I can’t even guess.
Bonbon
Participantbecause she didn’t want to be associated with her father.
Bonbon
ParticipantWas the only time EJ saw him was when he was "murdered"? I can’t remember.
