BonbonParticipant
she went to prison for kidnapping which is a federal crime and the only pardon she could get would have to come from the president, not a governor. But, this is Salem, folks. What do you expect?
Another thing I’m having trouble swallowing is the guv walking around without any entourage whatsoever? I don’t think so. Just like the president, he has some kind of protection with him when he is out in public.
And what was with Abe’s showing contempt for him? Is that giving us a hint of something to come?
BonbonParticipantadults using bad language in front of their kids. It’s whatever is acceptable to them. The best (and most disgusting to me) example of this is Ozzie and Sharon Osborn. No wonder their kids also have such filthy mouths and don’t seem to be embarassed using it in front of anybody, even on national TV. Sharon using the "F" word on Celebrity Apprentice was inexcusable.
BonbonParticipantAlthough I’d love to see that happen, I don’t think EJ would ever stand for Nicole blackmailing him. I still want them to be a couple.
BonbonParticipantHow can he keep putting up with Sami’s crap over and over and over? He needs to get a clue. Or else he’s studying to become a first-class doormat. I don’t believe anybody could endure what she continues to throw at him day after day after day. If this is any indication of what is to come in their relationship, they are DOOMED!
BTW, you haven’t heard from me in a while because my computer decided to up and die…stone cold dead. (I’m at the library right now, trying to get caught up on email, bills, etc.) And did I have my files backed up? Nooooo. Ten years of personal files lost forever, many of them irreplaceable. Let that be a lesson to everyone….go back up your harddrive right NOW!
BonbonParticipantWe’ve all prayed for you in the past during your plight and it has kept you with us so we will continue to ask our higher powers to help you along, not only physically, but mentally and emotionally too. Yes, you are a very strong woman and that will help you in the long run.
Please keep us posted during your recovery because we all care so much for you. Is there someone who can update us on your condition should you not be able to?
God bless, Nora. Stay strong so you can be with us for many years to come. And no more of this going off to the hospital, you hear?
BonbonParticipant…where was Laura? Did she go to Africa to be with Bill?
BonbonParticipantI sure don’t like the snarky way they are writing Nichole right now. Before she went to prison we still occasionally saw her soft and vulnerable side while now she’s just plain annoying. I hope they don’t screw up her character as she has been my favorite for quite some time now.
BonbonParticipantI’m sure they did it to decrease the twins’ on screen time. They may have reached their maximum. I think that’s something we just have to accept.
BonbonParticipant…alcoholism has nothing to do whatsoever with being weak or strong willed. And it is not uncommon for someone who has been on the wagon for years. It’s no harder to start drinking again after being sober for many years as it is after only one day. It’s something you have to fight every day of your life. I’ve heard enough stories at AA meetings to know that for certain.
I thought there would be much more drama in the alcoholism storyline than the MG and so far, I’m right.
BonbonParticipantwhy she’s being so difficult about it. She’s acting like it’s a big shame to have this disease and she doesn’t want anybody to know about it. And why was she giving Daniel such a hard time about getting treatment? It just doesn’t make sense. She’d had the disease for a long time so should understand what a relapse would mean as far as treatment and medication goes.
To me, this is looking just like the the direction the autism storyline went…nowhere. It’s anticlimatic and holds no interest to me at all.
BonbonParticipantI think she has grown considerably and at least one of the twins smiled a lot while she was with Anna. And today, finally we saw her standing up when Sami was putting her coat on. I’m sure if they’d let her, she’d be walking all over the place.
March 11, 2010 at 10:51 pm in reply to: I really enjoyed the conversation between Stephanie and Melanie….. #11219BonbonParticipantI’m not sure if Stephanie is still in love with Philip or just doesn’t want Melanie to have him. And while they seem to want us to believe that she’s really into Nathan, I’m not so sure she’s not just trying to convince herself that she cares for him because Philip married Mel. And we know that Mel still has feelings for Nathan, she seems to really love Philip. Good grief, they don’t usually make things so confusing for us, normally they hit us over the head with everything to make sure we understand. What does everybody else think?
BonbonParticipantto find that clapping annoying. You’d think someone would realize they are clapping right by the mike and tell them not to do it. I guess they thought the audience didn’t have enough intelligence to do it on their own and had to be goaded. Hmmmm, maybe they’re right.
As far a Clooney goes, I’ve heard lots of people say what a truly nice and down-to-earth guy he is. I can see where he could give off that impression though. Maybe it depends on who you talk to.
BonbonParticipantapparently it didn’t interest me enough to remember to watch it again.
BonbonParticipantonce Nicole is out and free and clear from the law, she just might want to get back with EJ and regain her hold on Sydney (her happy little family). She could plot against Sami to get Sydney away from her permanently. That would keep her in her role as a villian. I’m not sure we could accept her as a complete goody two-shoes. And if she doesn’t get back with EJ, will she go after Brady? Oh, I hope not, but you know we can’t let Brady and Arianna be happy and what better way to stir them up than to throw Nicole in the middle.
Aw, heck, will I EVER be happy with what goes on on this show? Probably not.
