are certainly enough for me to create my own that are probably even worse than hers! I don’t think mouths and lips were made to contort like that…were they?
BonbonParticipantwhat high school will Sydney attend while holed up there with Anna?
BonbonParticipantThanks to you both.
BonbonParticipanther dad is one smart cookie. Straight As all the way through school. He was my son’s speech and debate partner and between the two of them, they were never beaten. He always said when he graduated from college, he was going to manufacture tires. His sign would say…FLATT TIRES!
As I said, she isn’t expected to medal. You can tell as she did her personal best last night and that still only put her in fifth. But, I’m guessing that 2014 will be her big year.

BonbonParticipantdon’t use it very often.
You can email me at tresbonbon@aol.com. Real name…Bonnie Addicott.
I’m free as a bird and can go any time. Anybody else live in that area we can add?
BonbonParticipantI’d much prefer Stephanie with Philip and Melanie with Nathan. But you know we viewers never get what we want.
And I don’t know why I seem to be so far out in left field when it comes to Stephanie. I like her and don’t find her to be anywhere near as annoying as most of the rest of you do. I thought she loved Philip a lot and was very hurt when their engagement didn’t work out. And I also thought she was very wise to break it off if it was apparent Philip wasn’t going to go the straight and narrow. It would only lead to a life of unhappiness for her.
That said, putting her with Nathan (AND her professing her love for him to others) is just totally ludicrous. I think you’re right, they throw these people in the test-the-chemistry-waters way to quickly and don’t yank them back out soon enough when it doesn’t work out. Oh, well! We’ve weathered worse than this in the past. I’m sure things will get better eventually.
BonbonParticipantJames isn’t the first one to play the bad guy. Look at how thoroughly disgusted we were with Kate during the poisoning Chloe storyline. You can’t blame the actor. All that means is he’s really pulling of the way they’re writing the charactor. Look how many characters in the past we absolutely hated but, with the exception of Kate, I don’t remember anyone wanting the character to leave the show.
As to Anna, my personal belief is that they brought her back specifically to take the fall for EJ so he won’t have to go to prison or take the blame for this whole fiasco. Let’s face it, Anna is an expendable character and we know that EJ would throw her under the bus in a nanosecond. As to what will happen to him after this whole thing is exposed is anybody’s guess. I’m just hoping that he and Nicole can get back together and continue to wreak havoc on the good people of Salem.
BonbonParticipantmust be working well because I can count on one hand the spam I’ve seen on this site. And even if some does seep through, the enjoyment I get from everybody here and their comments is well worth hitting the delete key a couple of times.
Thanks again, Jenn, for all your hard work.
BonbonParticipantEOM
BonbonParticipantto be acting the way she is. Her husband came down with some kind of horrible illness that turned him into a monster. She not only killed a man but she killed her husband. She has just found the daughter she hasn’t seen since birth only to discover that someone is trying to killer as punishment for killing her husband. Her former "husband" has forsaken his wife for her and she is having to deal with that fall-out. Hmmmm, I guess that would be enough to make a person react somewhat irrational…ya think?
BonbonParticipantHoly moly! My son lives in Deltona so I’m up that way a lot. If you own an ice cream store, we could become really good friends!
But seriously, when I used to post to another group (for 12 years!), six of us got together several times. First in San Francisco, then Orlando, then Las Vegas. It was so much fun finally meeting people we had known for so long but never met. But I know some people are not comfortable with that so you have to respect their wishes.
Actually, there was another guy on that group in Orlando that owned a hair salon and a young female teacher also. (Orlando must be big on Days Of Our Lives.) But we just never connected with them. And the guy had the greatest sense of humor, I would have loved to have met him. And KAT lives up that-a-way too. (Haven’t seen much of her for a while.)
BonbonParticipantThanks, Goody. What a beautiful family. And they named the baby after his mother!
BonbonParticipantI went from California to Florida. (I’m NW of Ft. Lauderdale…Coral Springs.) But, not knowing how old you are, do you remember the seven-year drought we had, I think it was the late 70s? Boy, talk about water rationing. No water in fountains, no watering lawns (at ALL!), no washing cars (except on a lawn). People were saving gray water to use on their plants and the popular slogan was, "Save water, shower with a friend." Another was, "If it’s yellow, let it mellow, if it’s brown, flush it down.)
They said the other day this has been the coldest winter in 30+ years. I believe it. I went to a fancy anniversary party the other night, wearing a sleeveless dress and didn’t have a coat to wear! Not even any kind of wrap. I ended up wearing a velveteen jacket that I usually wear with jeans. Nobody laughed at me so I guess it passed for velvet. It’s supposed to be back up in the low 80s today. YAY! ! ! ! !
BonbonParticipantThe athlete that stands up there on the podium, waving the American flag, smiling, and robustly singing The Stars Spangled Banner, is the person that brings tears to my eyes and makes me proud to be an American, because I know they’re proud too. THAT’S the person I want to see representing us. And let’s face it, it’s the greatest nation in the universe! (Casting no aspersions on our Canadian – or those from other countries – friends out there.)
I think we’ve gone through this before but I still don’t understand why only people from the USA are called Americans when Canadians and Mexicans should also be. And, technically, even all the Central and South Americans should be called Americans too. I guess maybe because United Statesians is too awkward.
