BonbonParticipant
What part of FL are you in? I’m about 30 minutes NW of Ft. Lauderdale.
I’ve tried very hard to be a Dolphins fan but after living 36 years in the Bay Area, I’m still pretty much a die-hard 49ers fan. I started out, when I first moved there, being for the Raiders but when they moved to LA, that was it. I couldn’t even change my mind when they came back to Oakland.
Maybe we should move this thread to where it belongs. Jenn, can you do that?

It would make sense to do that so they can have someplace for Ali to be when she’s not with Sami (which is all the time). But if they send him off to London, or whatever, then Ali will have to spend all her time at the pub with Caroline who seems to be MIA also.
BonbonParticipantTHAT DAMNED GROUND HOG!
BonbonParticipantwhether the church is Catholic or Protestant, and that is whether or not Christ is shown on the cross or it is empty. Protestant churches always show the cross empty because of their strong emphasis on the resurrection, while the Catholics only display the crucifix, both in the churches and on their rosaries.
BonbonParticipant…for many reasons.
But what bothers me about University Hospital is that none of their beds have side rails. Imagine leaving a comotose patient without rails on their beds. Yeah, yeah, I know, it hinders the filming but, sometimes I think a certain amount of realism is warranted.
BonbonParticipantsome of these shows that have been on lately where they find a long-lost child who was given up at birth. In every single case, when they met, they instantly hugged and cried, all the while professing their love for each other. So, I believe there must be something there biologically between a parent and child even when there has been no contact for many, many years.
In fact, one case actually made me think of Carly and Melanie. The girl had gotten pregnant and wanted to keep the baby but her mother would not let her come home unless she gave it up for adoption. For the next 45 years she always wondered about that child. When she was found and they eventually met for the first time, it was so VERY loving and touching.
BonbonParticipant…and lie down on this couch!
BonbonParticipantI had one that would get a nosebleed if you looked at him too hard but I don’t remember them starting until he was about five or so.
BonbonParticipantis that she was okay without her being in her life until Lawrence’s "illness" made him go crazy and he told Carly he was going to kill her "bastard spawn." So that was when she felt she had to find her and "protect" her. That makes sense to me but I agree with a lot of the other stupid, stupid, stupid things she’s done. But then, if she had acted like a normal person, would we even be watching?
BonbonParticipantEOM
BonbonParticipantHowever, I think it’s gone on long enough and should be ready to be brought to an end. Gosh, Sydney should be walking now yet we never see it.
I’m thinking that Anna is going to take the rap for the kidnapping which will let EJ off the hook. However, I haven’t a clue what part Nicole is going to play when she returns. She’ll probably finger Anna but what’ll happen between her and EJ? And if she doesn’t go back to him, what then?
BonbonParticipantShe said that Sydney was wearing that when she had a nosebleed.
BonbonParticipantIf anything, Charles has gotten better looking. And he won too. Now we’ll get to see him again in the quarter-final Celebrity Jeopardy.
David Ducovney was also on and while watching him it stuck me how much Philip looks like him. Anyone else notice that?
BonbonParticipantit seems all the news programs have become so political and biased either to the left or the right that we no longer are having the news reported to us, we are having it interpreted with a network slant. It shouldn’t be that way. The reporters views and opinion should be left out totally. Everything now days is either left or right, liberal or conservative, blue or red, right or wrong.
Personally, I think the only solution is to get rid of the party system completely and let each candidate for whatever office run on their own merits instead of the party platform. Let their backers come from the people who believe in them rather than an organization. Will that ever happen? Probably not.
BonbonParticipantI instantly got a lump in my throat. Maybe because it came on so quickly and unexpectedly.
