BonbonParticipant
He said this is the FBI’s case and they are only giving him information as a courtesy. I think it is very common for local PDs, once the FBI steps into a case, to get their feathers ruffled because they are kept out of the loop. Of course, the FBI can involve them if they please but they usually think they are so far above the local law enforcement officers, they will only give them grunt work to do. So, it doesn’t surprise me not to see Bo working on it.
BonbonParticipant…the purpose of not telling Melanie that she is her mother. How is that protecting her? What’s Mel going to do when she finds out, go running to Vivian and say, "Guess who I am?" Again, poor, poor writing. (I think I’m going to store this phrase for easy access in the future. It seems I’m using it more and more all the time.)
BonbonParticipant…are we sure he isn’t related to Brady? He does the exact same thing.
BonbonParticipantWhy didn’t the other guy just shoot her when he walked in the pub instead of all the theatrics which left time for Brady to come in and save the day. Again, poor, poor writing.
BonbonParticipant…but I’m on Sami’s side here. The ransom distinctly told them NOT to tell ANYONE and that’s exactly what she did. Heck, Rafe was investigating anyway so what’s the difference. If it was my child and the father was willing to pay the ransom, I don’t think I’d tell anyone either. Of course, we know what’s going on on the other side so we tend to be too hard on Sami.
BonbonParticipantI thought at first he was using the house phone until he stuck it into his pocket. Yo, continuity…!!!
BonbonParticipantI never watched that show but he’s credited in IMDB. He was also the star of Keen Eddie which I thought was pretty good but didn’t last long. Actually, he’s got a pretty long list of credits to his name.
I hope this one (Human Target) is successful because I really like him. He’s cute AND he’s talented.
BonbonParticipantAnd that’s saying something. At least Jan was attractive.
I get the impression that she and "T" are a couple. Is that right? If so, she must have something that WE can’t see…if you get my drift.
BonbonParticipantSami does have a perfectly good reason for not telling Rafe. When he finally does find out, all she has to tell him is that the ransom note said not to tell anybody and she was fearful for Sydney’s life. That would make perfect sense to me. And that IS the reason she hasn’t told him, isn’t it?
January 17, 2010 at 12:55 pm in reply to: Too bad we Bill, Marie, and Sarah who apparently were always in another room… #9751BonbonParticipantI’ve been told that my whole life. I wish it was because of something I’d done but it’s just my genes. It was the same with my mother and my son. I was talking to a man in the doctor’s waiting room last week and I told him my son just had his 51st birthday. He said, "What? You look like you’re 51." I said, "I wish, I just celebrated my 70th." (If only I felt 51!)
We used to have fun at age guessers at the fair because DH was prematurely grey and I looked younger, so looking at the two of us, they never knew which way to go and would inevitably get one of us very wrong.
I think Doug (Bill Hayes) falls into this category. Who in the world would ever think he’s 83?
BonbonParticipantEOM
BonbonParticipantThere has been this big hullabloo about Sami not telling Rafe about the ransome note because it said not to contact the police…YET…Rafe the Salem PD, and the FBI have been investigating all along, so what difference would it make? DUH!
BonbonParticipant…I am so very opposed to that happening I guess I didn’t want to believe it was even a slight possibility. But, you’re probably right otherwise why did they make it that they knew each other. It’s just that I didn’t think Dan would have cheated on his wife. She wouldn’t have been dead yet that long ago.
Bah! If that happens, I will not like it at all. Not that there hasn’t been other crap that I haven’t liked. And it’s right that a happy couple is a boring couple. I can already see that happening with Chloe and Dan. RATS!
BonbonParticipantI had forgotten about Grace’s funeral. Apparently so have the writers.
BonbonParticipantI was always under the impression that Viv was going to kill her daughter so she would know what it felt like to lose a loved one as she had lost Lawrence. My guess is that she will probably "do away with" Mia, mistakenly thinking she is Carly’s daughter.
And I don’t understand why we’re not referring to Melanie as her daughter. That is not a spoiler as she said her name on Friday’s show.
