If it turns out that EJ is the one behind the kidnapping, all I can say is the writers certainly duped us.  There were just too many scenes that EJ had showing the misery he was experiencing.  Remember when he got the first note from Anna and the emotion he had on his face.  And he was alone so no need for any acting.  Same thing when he got the second note.  And his vehement condemnaation of Nicole in the courtroom.  Uh-uh, writers, you gave us too many dishonest red herrings.  Shame, shame!

I think Brady is the only one with any compassion and sees the reasoning behind Nicole’s actions.  Aren’t we taught to hate the sin but love the sinner?  If I needed someone on my side, I’d certainly pick Brady for that person.

It seems that companies have no loyalty anymore to their veteran employees.  Where I worked (before I retired) when things got rough, they laid off two people who had been with them for OVER 30 YEARS!  Along with many others with nothing but two weeks severance pay.  That was instrumental in my decision to retire.  Get out before they toss me out.

I have friends/acquaintences who’ve lost their jobs after many years with their employers.  And in every case, it’s been, "Thanks…good-bye!"  One good friend lost her job and two weeks later, so did her husband.  We’ve got the same thing here with our very own Jade.  Personally, I think it’s sinful!  But, you have to understand they are in business to make money and when they are not making it, they have to make cuts.  It ain’t fair but that’s the way it is.

Absolutely!  I wasn’t exactly thrilled when he came on the show but he’s certainly won me over.  When he walked in wearing that suit and tie, I thought, wow, he cleans up very nicely.

Nicole is sentenced to 20 years.  She has a good-bye scene, first with Chloe, then with Brady.  She tells Brady to not write to her or visit her

Maggie was in a hurry to go some place.  But later we see her walk into her kitchen looking very forlorn.  She sits down at the table and begins to cry.  I guess we all know what’s coming here.

EJ gets an urgent call, says, "I’ll be right there," and rushes out the door.  The last thing we see is Anna, holding Sydney, opens the door to EJ with a very shocked look on his face.

Some insignificant stuff between Gabby and Mia.  Gabby doesn’t understand why Mia was kissing Will when she came in and yet told her (Gabby) how important Chad was to her (Mia)

    That’s about it.

by the look of surprise on his face when Anna opens the door.  What is THAT all about?  If he knew Anna lived there and she had Sydney, what was the big surprise?

Today I noticed that Anna had about two inches of outgrowth too.  Is this a new kind of fad or something?

I think it appeared grey because Ali’s natural color is more ash than the honey color they give her.  Although, people have been known to go totally grey early in life.  My husband was one of them.  His hair was completely grey by the time he was 30.  But it was such beautiful hair, kind of like Doug’s.

I’m pretty sure Chloe found out it was Nicole.  And they becomng BFFs is probably something the writers just decided to toss in.  How else could Nicole come up with a buddy after all she’s done in the past.  By far not on a par to Sami but I think Nicole’s ‘sins’ were much more severe than Sami’s.  She’d have to get forgiveness from whomever they decided to pair her up with.

I always liked the sisterhood between Jen, Hope, and…who was the other one, Kayla?  It’s so cold here, I think my brain has frozen.  I remember a scene where they were all sitting on the couch, eating ice cream out of the container and commisurating with each other.

There is so much more ‘meat’ to play with when you’re a baddie.  It seems to be those types of roles that always get the recognition/awards.  The only exception I can think of, right now, is Hope’s exceptional scenes after Zack was killed (I don’t watch any other soaps so can’t say what they might have experienced).

I think it’s just because there is so much more to work with than when you’re casted as a goody-two-shoes.  Deidre Hall mentioned in an interview once (while she was playing the Salem Slasher) how much she enjoyed using some of her nasty side.

I know that now I’ll get a lot of exceptions to the rules with this post.  One beginning with Maggie’s up-coming story.  I know she’ll hit that one waaaay over the ballpark.

…but, it seemed to me from the judge’s comments that she’s going to get off lightly.  But then again, maybe that was just a red herring.  I think the whole thing hinges on whether or not Ari is coming back after her maternity leave.  And it scares me that she may not because she has been by far one of the best actors on this show.  There doesn’t seem to be any scuttlebutt about it which is why I’m so concerned.  (Has anybody heard anything?)  I suppose if she’s not coming back, the judge will throw the book at her.  If she is, she will probably get off with some time in a psychiatric hospital (maternity leave) and then be back.

I would love it if she would come back and get back with EJ.  There is so much potential for those two as a couple.  I DON"T want EJ to go back to Sami and I’d prefer he not ‘hook up’ with Arianna.  He belongs to Nicole!!!

I also thought for a minute that EJ was having some sympathy for her and maybe he really DID have some love for her but then when he jumped up and protested the judge’s comments, alas, I guess not.

Whatever happens, this has certainly been an interesting ride for us viewers and I have to say that it has been one of the more enjoyable and intreguing storylines for me.  I LOVE this show!

Since there is no blood relathionship between them, and remember way back when, when Sami hated Brady because of the way he was treating her mother.

A;sp, Patti, why would he look so miserable when he’s alone.  I don’t think they have the characters (when they are alone) emote just for us.

As far as the waterworks here went, I started crying while Brady was testifying and then Nicole let the flood gates open.  By golly, you’re right about Emmy recognition.  Several of ‘our’ actors have shown us some pretty amazing performances this past year.

…if Philip really loves Melanie or not.  For all outward appearances, he does.  But it certainly doesn’t make sense to me.  He was so head-over-heels in love with Stephanie, how could he possibly turn his feelings around toward Mel so fast.  But…I would think they’d give us some kind of indication if he’s just doing this on the rebound, maybe like daydreaming about Stephanie like Mel is doing with Nathan.

    I’m very confused.

Well, you have to remember it’s a James Cameron movie and he specializes in that.  Just look at Terminator.  This isn’t near as bad.

I don’t think the 3D made it any better.  It was definitely a fantasy so if you don’t care for that genre, i.e. Lord of the Rings, etc., you might not like it.  But, the special effects alone made it worthwhile.  It was an amazing movie.
