ParticipantOh, DeeLan, you are probably closer to the truth than you think. That was very funny.

ParticipantAfter today’s show, it doesn’t look like we’re going to see a reconciliation any time in the near future. Hope tells Justin she wants to file for separation and Bo tells Carly his marriage to Hope is over. How can they ever get back together when they both have such a defeatist attitude?
Bonbon
ParticipantI couldn’t figure out why he didn’t even try to offer some excuse (not that there was any valid one in the whole wide world) to Hope. If I were Hope I think I would have told him, "Okay, Bo, you can have Carly, I’m now out of your life!"

ParticipantOkay, people, we have more than beat this dead horse into oblivion. How about we all just agree to disagree on the subject and move on. We’ll never get the others to see our side, whichever one it is. I don’t think the "R" word should be mentioned again where it pertains to EJ or Sami. Dontcha think?

ParticipantIt seems like many people don’t like Stephanie but I always have. I think she’s very talented and I don’t see the traits that so many others do. I’d hate to see her go as I think she’s good with whomever they pair her with.
As to who I wouldn’t miss if they left, that would be Chad, Gabby, Mia, Will, or any of the other teens. Their stories just don’t do anything for me.
BTW, I was watching the Kennedy Center awards show last night and they panned Carol Burnett and it struck me that she looked very much like Vivian!

ParticipantThey do have to pay the actors if they play clips of the past, which is really too bad because there’s so much good stuff I’m sure we’d all love to see.
One exception to this is if they had it in their contract that all rights to past episodes remain the sole property of the show. I believe in that case they can do so. The only problem with that is, no agent in their right mind would ever allow a client to sign a contract with that condition in it, except maybe a brand new actor who is trying to break into the business and will make a concession to that to get the job.

ParticipantWhile Doug was really in love with Julie, he married Addy because of her money. She bought him Doug’s place, and, yes, he eventually did grow to love her and probably would have stayed with her had she not died.
I didn’t go into the ‘Scotty-line’ because THAT one is just toooo mind boggling.
One reason some of us old-timers remember all this is because they’ve become family to us. Heck, I’ve known these characters longer than some of my own family.

ParticipantWhile I was a definite EJami fan, I still am more in favor of EJ with Nicole. Yes, they didn’t have the same chemistry as he had with Sami but I think story wise, they are a much better pairing.
It looks like they are now going to throw Arianna at him which would probably be okay but would preclude Nicole getting back with him again when she returns from her maternity leave. I am kind of disappointed in that. I’m sure EJ and Arianna will have sparks (EJ would have sparks with Susan Boyle!) but I’m still a confirmed EJ/Nicole fan.

Participant…that was going to be the end of the separation. Dang, dang, dang… Maybe what we saw in the previews means she really IS going to fight Carly for Bo. But I was SOOOOO disappointed in Bo kissing her, and HE was the one that initiated it, not Carly. What a jerk!

ParticipantI thought that hat was smashing!

ParticipantThis relationship with Mel and Phil is nothing short of disgusting to me. I can’t fathom that Philip could possibly ‘love’ Mel that quickly. And I don’t believe for a minute that she ‘loves’ him either. In fact, I can’t find any possible reasoning for this proposal. It’s all a sham AFAIC.
As someone else mentioned, the best thing they could do with this fiasco would be to make it a dream sequence.

ParticipantJulie should only be in her early 60s because she is much younger than Doug. Same as in real life. It’s still a stretch of believability though.
Well, let’s say Gran is 92, Addie could have been 72, Julie 52 and Hope in her 40s, which she is. Remember, Hope and Julie are sisters.

ParticipantThose two songs always bring tears to my eyes and if Doug had sung either one of them I would have been boo-hooing all over the place.

Participantmade the effort to return to Bo and he rejected her. When she said, "If this was a movie…" he should have taken that as a hint to take her in his arms as she suggested and everything could have been all better. But, no…this time it was Bo who did the turning away. So, I don’t think we can continue to blame Hope for not "fighting for her man."
But as everybody else feels, I’m so tired of this storyline that I don’t even care anymore what happens.
BTW, why does everybody think Hope is going to cheat with Justin? Is that a spoiler or just speculation. It seems everybody it taking it as fact.
Bonbon
ParticipantThat must have been the one because Tyne Daly was in it. I didn’t watch enough to see what it was about.
