BonbonParticipant
Days doesn’t use cue cards. The actors are expected to memorize their lines. Julie and Bill talk about it in their book and I’ve heard other actors doing interviews that have said the same thing.
BonbonParticipantThat was quite eye-opening. I find it interesting how she talks about her faith. It seems that Days if very religious oriented in it’s cast members because there are so many who bring it up in their interviews. I wonder if they only tend to hire actors who have strong religious beliefs or what.
Anyway, I will see Theresa in a whole new light now. Thanks for posting that.
BonbonParticipantIt almost seemed like he was distracted and couldn’t concentrate on what he was doing. It’s apparent he has rheumatoid arthritis in his hands so who know how it is affecting him. But as long as they feel he can do his job, I’m fine with him staying. They’ll have to come up with a better replacement villain than that hick Clyde.
BonbonParticipantfor someone to do (IRL) would be to pack up and take off for Palo Alto, CA to get away from them both. Why stay there and subject herself to the pain and misery of knowing what they did every time she looks at them. But of course, there would be no further storyline if that happened.
BonbonParticipantbetween Rumer and Riker and would also have been happy for either of them. They were both exceptional and very entertaining. But Rumer and Val had a slight edge for me and that was that I really wanted Val to win. After eight shows, I thought he deserved a win. Now Maks will have to leave him alone.
All in all, a very good season. Once again, DWTS never disappoints me, in spite of what the doubtful (at the beginning) status of the “stars” may be.
BonbonParticipantI was about to come here and enter a new post with the same subject as you…yaaaawn only I was going to add zzzzzzzzzz after it too. :o)
BonbonParticipantpretty comfortable with Paul when he picked her up also. Either she’s/they’re very sociable little girls or, like you say, they must spend a lot of time with them. That’s what I thought when Johnny and Rafe had such a great relationship at first. Although that kid was really a good actor.
BonbonParticipantThe grey haired guy pulled out a reasonable looking badge. She probably had no reason to think they weren’t legitimate…until they refused her request to call her lawyer. THEN she should have become suspicious.
BonbonParticipantISA badges. If someone came to you and showed you identification that they were with the CIA, wouldn’t you go with them? Would you start screaming your head off? Probably not. We Americans are so ingrained with authority, we rarely question it. Of course WE, the viewers, knew what was going on but why would Marlene suspect they were not who they said they were?
BonbonParticipanthow, when he took his shirt off, she kept staring at his chest, just as a grown woman would do who was impressed with this physique. So cute.
BonbonParticipantThey just put him on there for the sympathy he garners and that just isn’t right. Yes, he’s a hero and an amazing man but he shouldn’t be trying to compete with the others when he has such limitations. And then they have him propose on air? How much more emotion that they pull out of the viewers? I really thought he should have been eliminated last night (5-12).
I’d be happy if either Riker or Rumer won because I think they have both done amazing jobs. However, after seeing Riker perform as a singer last night, he certainly has had dancing experience where Rumer started from absolutely scratch. And, I like Val and would certainly like to see him win. I can’t believe he has been on for eight seasons already but I think it’s time he takes home the mirror ball because I’m sure Maks probably gives him a lot of grief over having won when his little brother hasn’t.
So, I’m anxiously awaiting the finale and I agree, this has turned out to be one of the better seasons as far as talent goes. But if Noah wins, I will be extremely disappointed. We have already had two “handicapped” (I know they don’t like that term but I don’t know what else to call them) competitors win, however, they really did have the talent to beat the others and didn’t win on sympathy. We shall see…
BonbonParticipantover JJ’s actions (or perceived actions), I can’t imagine for a second that she would stay with him. That would have to be the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back for her. If she doesn’t kick him to the curb permanently over that, she doesn’t have a single brain cell. Maybe that’ll cause her to pack up and go off to Palo Alto for good. She certainly wouldn’t have any reason to stay in Salem. I mean, how could she even look at either JJ or Eve (or even Cole. Jenn, or Daniel, for that matter) after all that.
BonbonParticipantwatching Will trying to suck up to Sonny, apologizing constantly about his affair and how he’s going to be better and how they can work it out, and blah, blah, blah. Sickening, absolutely sickening.
BonbonParticipantthey are writing for Justin lately. They are destroying yet again another character. I keep waiting for some extenuating circumstances to explain his affair and being gone for so long. And the way he is now attacking Will just doesn’t seem like him. Please writERRs, stop this nonsense and return Justin to his likeable self.
BonbonParticipanthow Arianna was looking at him. She did, indeed, look afraid of him.
And wasn’t it sweet when Will was talking to her and she leaned forward and put her head against his chest? She must truly care for him.
