BonbonParticipant
seasons in a long time. No horrible hangers-on, good dancers, amazing sets, incredible chorography and all very entertaining. The only thing still lacking is the music matching the dances. I don’t understand their reasoning for having someone dance a 3/4 dance to a 4/4 time. And the Paso Dobles, IMO, should ONLY be danced to a floamenco-type music. Also, there is such great music out there for the Argentine Tang and yet they have them performing it to a popular song. Bah!
BonbonParticipantHe’s still very handsome but is starting to show the years. Yeah, it was great to see him again.
BonbonParticipantit all too often becomes cronic. I was in an accident over 25 years ago and I still suffer pain, in spite of three surgeries, hours and hours of PT and countless other kinds of treatments. The only thing that helps me now is pain pills
But I see a couple of problems with Jenn. First, it is way too soon for her to be so addicted that she is tearing up the house like that. Another thing is how she pleaded with Lucas that she needed help. If she is still in that much pain she wouldn’t give a second thought of feeling addicted and wanting to quit taking them. The problem comes when you no longer are taking them for the pain but for the addiction. Also, if she was in that much pain, she could have gone to the ER and told them she ran out of pills but was in a lot of pain and they would tide her over until she could see her regular doctor for a refil. (Plus, they can pick out the addicts pretty well, they see so many of them.
This is unusual to say but I think the writers have rushed this addiction SL too much. Like Lucas said, she had no addiction before the accident so she should still be justified taking the pills for her pain and not being so desperate that she has become a junkie.
BonbonParticipantas I was watching and they let out a big thunder boom, there was a flash of lightening here at exactly the same time. I thought, now THAT is some amazing FX! :o)
BonbonParticipantthe most boring show in years. I ended up not watching the rest of it after Aiden and Hope standing in the park while Hope was getting drenched and Aiden was totally dry.
BonbonParticipantif you ever saw the Richard Dreyfus/Amy Irving movie, The Competition, you’d be surprised what the FX people can do. They showed both of them, face, hands and keys at the same time, playing some extremely difficult compositions and neither one of them plays the piano…at all. Good movie, by the way, if you like piano music.
Also, both those pieces were pretty easy ones. I had them in my piano lessons early on, He did show nice interpretition though.
I’m with you,Casey, that has always been my very FIRST favorite. Then, Rhaposody in Blue is second, followed by Rachminov’s Concerto #2. Shall I go on? No? Okay. :o)
BonbonParticipantshe seems to get more beautiful every day.
Casey, I thought the same thing about her falling for him. It sure looked like it. Oh, please, writers, what else can you do to ruin our show?
BonbonParticipantI started to wonder what the talk of them moving to a Greek island is about. Are they going to leave the show? It sure sounded like it. I will be devistated if they do. They are a core couple and one that I always enjoy. I know John is getting up there in age but look how long Mrs. H. hung on. I hope he will do the same. I know, it is selfish of me but that’s how I feel.
BonbonParticipantBut you have to give her credit for her interpretation and ability.
I feel that Nyle can’t win because of the little missteps he makes because of not being able to hear the music. I know they have to deduct for that but if you gave that boy some hearing, he’d win hands down.
If I had to guess the outcome, I couldn’t do it. Any of the three I’ll be happy with even though I’d like to see Nyle win just because of his amazing accomplishment.
I was wondering, has Val ever won? I wouldn’t mind if he took it but Mark has won enough so let’s skip him this year.
BonbonParticipanta prescription for a month or two but when they continue on after the pain has subsided and keep increasing the strength or dosage. However, I have been on morphine six times a day for over two years now and I freely admit if I were to stop I would definitely go into withdrawal but as long as I stay on my prescribed dosage, I’m okay. The docttor says a person is drug "dependent," but not addicted unless your life revolves around getting your next dose and you will lie, cheat and steal to get them. Then you have a problem.
As far as I can see with Jen, as long as she is still in pain and is taking them according to her prescribed dosage, she does not have a problem nor is she addicted. If we see her start buying off the street or forging prescriptions, then people should start to worry about her. This is a misconception many people have.
BonbonParticipantIn Florida, which has the absolutely most strictly controlled laws of any state, all you have to do is go to a pain management doctor and convince him/her you are in pain and you get your prescrition refilled with no problem. The only test required is a quarterly urine test to make sure you are not taking any other opiates.
BonbonParticipantif they throw Ciera and Chad together. Haven’t we had enough of that?
BonbonParticipantthat poor shark has jumped so many times it has died of exhaustion!
BonbonParticipantI wrote my bird comments before I read yours. Sorry.
Another thing, why wasn’t he just sitting there with the light on when she returned instead of stalking around in the dark. Then Rafe would have been there to witness his "resurection" also.
BonbonParticipanthow come that bird didn’t deteriorate? And how come his beard grew but his hair didn’t, at least not proportionately to the beard. And could he have worn those same clothes all that time? Did he brush his teeth? I don’t believe he could have held his breath that long either.
