ParticipantThis is a soap opera and they will never allow us to have the satisfaction of seeing a character get what they have coming to them. Oh, if only once we could just sit and watch that horrible creature get ripped arm from arm, leg from leg with everybody standing in a circle around her laughing their butts off. (Too severe? Nah!)

Participantvaudeville character to me. She is WAY over the top with her actions from dropping the glass to the slack-jaw look she gets (and keeps far too long) every time she hears John is going to live. A huge indication of her lack of acting skills IMO. Next time, Maggie, don’t stop Kristen and let her finish the job…really finish the job.

Participantthat Sandaya will be leaving next week. I have mixed feelings about her designs. It’s like she has so much talent but just can’t quite pull it through to sucess. Last night’s pinwheel dress was interesting but looked too amaturish. I think her love of color comes from her ethnecity.

ParticipantThey’ve done that with long hair before and fooled us. It’s nice for a change.
Does anybody remember the episode a long time ago when Melissa cut her hair right on the show? That was certainly a surprise.
I have to say about Jen yesterday, she was being awfully presumptuous by going to Daniel’s house like that. He said he wanted to take it slow and she barges in like that. Very disappointing.

Participantthey met in the park. He just gave in to temptation and Hope didn’t fight him…at all!

ParticipantMaybe we won’t be subject to so many interruptions now. Obama always seems to start his press conferences at 1:00.

ParticipantYou don’t always know whether or not people want to share their stories. I just can’t imagine what that could be like. But I commend you for doing an obviously successful job in raising him.

ParticipantHow awful for you. Can you share with us what happened? Was it recently?

ParticipantI also started watching with my mom in 1969. I have known some of these characters longer than many of my friends and relatives. I can’t remember who the first main character to leave was but I thought the show would never be the same again. And how many times since have I had to endure that same type of loss over and over and over again. Although Sami is certainly in the top category of main characters, I know I’ll survive and, like you, I’ll go down with the ship when it eventually sinks.
Be glad you still have your mom to discuss Days with. One of the hardest things for me when my mom passed away was not being able to go to her and say, “You won’t believe what happened to day…” What an insidious habit this is! :o) But it’s our habit and we may as well enjoy it while we still can.
So, here’s to a character, gradually emerging from the background to steal all our hearts and fill the void that Sami and EJ will leave.

Participantabout Hope for years and years and years. I think she is probably just a naturally thin person. I think it accentuates it when they have her hair in an up-do though. For all the actors struggling with their weight, she should be glad she doesn’t have to. Although, for some people it is just as hard to gain weight as it is to lose. I lost 25 lbs. during my recent hospitalizations/surgeries, and, believe me, you can’t “just eat something” (like my friends tell me) and gain it back.

Participant…no JJ/Eve “get together” whatever you do! That would be more than I can bear. Why do we need older woman/young guy at all. Rafe/Kate almost burned the image on my TV as it was. PLEASE don’t subject us to any more of that.

Participantjust makes me LOL.

ParticipantNot quite what I’d expect from Patti.
