After Eve told Paige they hadn’t “done it,” that kind of let’s Jack off the hook. Too bad though, that would have made an interesting storyline. But then, like Patti suggests, Eve just may lead them to believe he is. That could also be very interesting.
And the pained look on Theresa’s face was priceless. But maybe it’ll give her something to think about anyway. Nah, probably not, she doesn’t have a conscience.
But, PLEASE, stick a fork in this storyline, it is so done! Brady is addicted, he’s going to reform, no he’s not, yes he is. Sheesh!
After yesterday’s show, it looks like Paige is going to be Jack’s daughter not Frankie’s. There wouldn’t be any drama in that. Otherwise, why is Eve so concerned about them having a relationship. I’m betting on that scenario.
Dump Theresa and save Brady. I don’t understand how these drugs and booze are having such a detrimental affect on Brady but not Theresa. She never appears to be drunk or high. And how in the world is she keeping her job? I don’t care if she IS Anne’s little lackey, she still has to show up once in a while.
I sometimes feel she is being over-dramatic. I don’t think people in real life talk like that. And I wish she’d quit rubbing Paige’s arms up and down when she talks to her. Once is okay but she does it over and over and over.
I hope I’m not coming across as too critical because I do like her so far but she hasn’t really struck me like, say, Madison did. I liked everything about her instantly. Maybe she just isn’t totally into or comfortable with her character yet.
He was more concerned that she didn’t have the faith in him to do what he threatened Nicole he would do, tell Eric, because he kept giving her chance after chance. He felt that she was disappointed in him because it was a character flaw and something that, in her eyes, could never change.
Yeah, stupid but… So, he has a character flaw, did he think he was perfect?

After Abby falling in EJ’s arms (can you say “contrived”?) I thought that would follow.
I says a lot that daytime Emmys have been relegated to the Internet now. It looks like the times they are a’changing. Evidently people are doing things other than watching TV during the days now. And we all know soaps are on their last legs.
Such a shame, but if I only have One Life to Live, let me end it in Another World with The Doctors in the General Hospital because we, the Young and the Restless and the Bold and the Beautiful, will certainly leave no Dark Shadows when the end finally comes, but As the World Turns, All My Children, that’s probably the way it’s going to be, now, and for all the Days of our Lives.
I saw a commercial the other night where Eve was confronting Jenn and Jenn was holding Jack’s book with his picture on the back. (I know we always spell her name Jen but in the CC it’s always Jenn.)
They also showed a new scene of EJ and Abby passionately kissing. (Of course all their kissing is passionate!) So, does this mean they are going to take up with each other again, or, as Days is wont to do, is it just a fantasy?
to repeat the Horton siblings (don’t remember exactly which ones, was it Tommy and Addie?) falling in love with each other, not knowing they were related, storyline.
I missed much of this time because it was pre-VCR and I was working. I just remember my mom trying to keep me current on what was going on.
That was very helpful. I started remembering all of it as I read through. Although I think it painted a rosier picture of Eve than what she actually was. Like I said in another thread, she wasn’t as evil as Theresa but she WAS a BAD girl, basically with no scruples of her own.
Eve and Theresa are sisters from the remark Eve made to Paige about “Grandpa Shane.” But what I can’t understand is how Theresa wouldn’t know anything at all about Paige, yet Paige knows about Theresa (oh, my head!!!). First, it isn’t that common a name and, second, Eve and her daughter would have to have been estranged from Shane and Kim since before Paige was born. And, since Paige and JJ are the same age, that means Eve must have still lived in Salem when she had her. Oh, the confusion.
Then, as to who her father is… I guess it could be Frankie but I’m leaning more toward Jack. (My head is unclear about them being married but I vaguely recall it wasn’t actually a marriage of love. And it’s possible they had a “brief moment” after they were married. I understand that is very common after divorces. Actually, I know first hand it happens.
