i think the writers simply added this in, so that when the full truth comes out about chloe cheating on him – and that philip took part in it – he’ll assume they got it all wrong (i.e. that, although chloe cheated on him, it wasn’t with philip…that philip cheated with the woman from the office), and won’t be so suprised, until he fully finds out that it was indeed philip with chloe. EITHER THAT, OR…
PICTURE THIS: dan confronts philip – telling him something to the extent of "I KNOW YOU CHEATED ON MY DAUGHTER!" and philip will assume he has found out the truth about him and chloe (since that’s the only woman he cheated on his wife with), and he (philip) will accidentally blab out chloe’s name (e.g. "LOOK, DANIEL! IT WAS ONLY ONE TIME! CHLOE THOUGHT YOU WERE HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH WHAT’S-HER-NAME, AND I THOUGHT I WAS LOSING MEL TO NATHAN!"), and then dan will interrupt him, and be like "WAIT! WHAT…WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY? CHLOE? MY WIFE, CHLOE? YOU AND MY WIFE SLEPT TOGETHER?!" And then philip will then realize he just exposed the truth on himself, and will be like – with a shocked/surprise look on his face – "WAIT A MINUTE! I THOUGHT…[confused look on his face]…UMMM…[and then he’ll try to joke it off] …"DID I SAY CHLOE? FREUDIAN SLIP!" And then Dan will get very angry, and lift philip up by his suit coat, and exclaim…"YOU SON-OF-A-*&^%#! I’M GONNA KILL YOU!"
Agreed! I love the song, "We Three Kings"! I have had some of the little children at my church march in during a Christmas play, to that song! Awesome!
Agreed! And let’s not forget all the DISGUSTING/HORRIBLE things Kate has done…She has some nerve to cop an attitude towards EJ like that. I think she’s just scared…worried that word will get back to Stefano (that’s the only reason why she’s willing to "help" Samantha Brady-Horton-DiMera-Hernandez out). smh…TEAM EJ! TEAM EJ!
LOL Not only would Sami be the scarecrow, but EJ would be the Wizard, Vivian would be the Wicked Witch, Maggie would be the Good Witch…and Rafe, Brady and Phil would be the Lollipop Kids (LOL)
Sorry…I think my reason for being such way is due to all the Salem "tea" I’ve been FORCED to drink. LOL Maybe it has finally did me in?! LOL
I’m on the flip-side for once…I’m actually ENJOYING Days lately (especially the EJ-Nicole-Sami-Rafe and Vivian-Vic-Maggie SLs)!
Simmer down, Patti! I can’t wait ’til this all unravels! I’m a huge Vivian fan! I’m gonna be cheering all the way throughout this storyline! LOL And I can’t wait ’til the wedding, when EJ crashes it! A must-see! YIPPIE! I’m soooo TEAM-EJ (and a tiny bit team-nicole)!
I agree with you about Chloe and Philip! I’ve been wanting them to be together FOREVER! I hated when the writers paired her up with Brady…Ugh!
