I doubt Caroline says she did it to keep Kayla from messing up Bo and Carly’s relationship (besides, I think Caroline would prefer her son with Hope). If any of you looked closely at Caroline, when Kayla stated that she believed Carly had switched the paternity, she had the weirdest/strange/guilty/nervous look on her face. It was as if she didn’t want Kayla investigating any further on Carly, because she was afraid she’d find out it was her all along (that’s why she kept telling her to leave it alone, etc)…But in the end (as is what we’re gonna see on today’s -Monday-show), she realizes that if she doesn’t go ahead and just tell Kayla that it was her who did it, she would find out anyway…and maybe in the process, she (Caroline) would run the risk of getting in trouble. Think about it: by telling Kayla in private, instead of Kayla confronting Carly in front of the masses with the accusation – – causing Carly (and or anybody else who’s around when they hear Kayla’s accusation) to find the "proof" that she didn’t do it- eliminates the chance of Caroline getting in trouble, because we all know Kayla wouldn’t tell on her own mom. Furthermore, by Caroline telling her now, it also lessens the chance of Dan finding out that it isn’t his baby (which will then cause him to realize that Chloe cheated on him, etc, etc).

Yeah, I saw some of the scene, and it was touching…So sad…I hate the writers decided to boot this actress. Ugh! I am glad, however, that she has found work elsewhere! GREAT FOR LINDSEY (she deserves it)! And I will admit, when she first came to Days – to replace the the actress who originally played Ari -I was not happen (just because I couldn’t stand her role on Passions, as Teresa), but she really caused me to do a 180! She took that character role, and gave it new life, and for that, I am pleased! The actress and the character will be greatly missed on DOOL.
that’s interesting! maybe it will turn out that the new doctor at the hospital is tied in with the doctoring stuff that’s going on at the prison? And just maybe, Ari could have survived, but maybe – assuming that the inmates in prison are dying for the sake of organs – the doctor at the hospital wanted Ari’s organs or something – and thus, that’s why she really dies…has nothing to do with her injuries suffered from the hit-n-run?!?!
you’re so right! And am I the only one who thinks the actor who plays Will, seems a lot like the actor Owen Wilson? lol I couldn’t stop thinking that when he was trying to persuade Ari, and when he was talking to his mom at the hospital. lol
EJ was absolutely concerned about Ari’s health…Didn’t you see when – at the hit-n-run site – when Ari was trying to tell him about who it was, he told her to not speak…that whatever she had to say could wait (he was totally focused on making sure she was all right)? And speaking of people NOT showing much of any concern, how ’bout Sami and Will?! Sure, they were hoping that she’d pull through (for Rafe’s sake ONLY…they can’t stand her), but they were plotting madly for the recorder that had Sami’s confession…Shame on them!
And, as I’ve been saying for a while now (in light of what spoilers state), I soooo wish the writers could have put EJ and Ari together (they would’ve been HOT HOT SALSA-BABY-HOT)! Grrrr DOOL writers! lol Oh well…

Even if Carly does find out about Vivian, I don’t think it would matter much…not with the hot water she’s in regarding with the Sister, regarding Chloe-Daniel-baby.
But you know how DOOL writers are…Once we the viewers start to see that it was Caroline all along, we’ll then get the "flashbacks" to how she went about doing it. It’s gonna be interesting seeing just how the writers unfold this SL. lol I can’t wait.
Am I the only one happy that the writers are finally starting to use the veterans more in serious storylines?! Victor, Maggie, Stefano, Vivian…now Caroline.
I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! And, yeah, just as Kprstrs: why would Caroline do such a thing? Heck, how does she even know anything about it? In order for her to do such a thing, that would mean that she knows 1) Chloe cheating on Daniel; 2) Daniel isn’t the father of the baby; 3) knew the best time to go and switch the test (I never knew she was so medically smart, in order to know how to even go about doing such a thing)/that neither Chloe, Philip, Carly or Stephanie wanted the baby to be anyones but Daniel’s, etc, etc, etc.
Wow. I guess Caroline doesn’t just waste her life at the Brady Pub, like we’ve all come to believe, after all. lol
LOL I was wondering the same thing about Ari’s recorder. I could understand her audio recording her, but video recording? How? lol The camera would have to be visible in order to do such a thing, and not only visible, but prompted in such a manor, that she was able to get a great angle on Sami. lol lol Oh well…I’m still not happy that Ari’s gonna get killed off the show. Ugh. I soooo wanted her and EJ to hook up.
This must mean that, soon down the line, it will be revealed that Jack and Jen "went up the hill to fetch a pail of water…Jack fell down and broke his crown, and Jen returned to Salem"?! LOL {sorry, I couldn’t help myself. lol}
But seriously, the fact that Jennifer is returning to Salem (and from another spoiler I read, for GOOD) – and with no word of Jack eventually returning to the show/Salem – this must mean that their marriage came to a hault.
Ugh! Me don’t like that. I don’t want to see Jennifer with anyone but Jack.Thanks for the heads-up! I’m interesting in EJ "leaning" on Nicole…I wonder if he promises her that she’ll be able to see Sydney if she help him get the proof he needs (i.e. Ari’s recording of Sami admitting she shot him) to prove that Sami indeed shot him? Hmmm…And if so, I wonder how this will affect her relationship with Brady (Sami’s bro)?
I am not, however, interested in Vic, Kate and Nicole, of all trios, teaming up! And for what? To go up against Vivian?! Oh geesh! If so, I hope Vivian wreaks havoc on all of ’em! ROCK ON, VIVIAN!
Sami-Rafe tie the knot: SNOOZE FEST! I don’t want to see this. Sami doesn’t deserve to be happy at this point (all the more reason why I’m glad EJ will be BLACKMAILING HER)! Ugh!
Chloe gives birth: hopefully soon after, the truth comes out that the baby is Philip’s, so we can move on from this SL. smh…SNOOZE FIESTA!
