BrandyRoseParticipant
the 10th? That would be weird, though, starting the week on a Friday. Is this a trick question, Rf?

BrandyRoseParticipantI never have the heart to point it out to those who accidentally misuse the word. I rarely see anyone use it correctly. NO OFFENSE TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER!! (Dodging!) I do agree with the message of the thread, however, about Lucas.
It is probably that people always hear it said that way and haven’t taken the time to analyze the phrase.
If you "could" care less, that means that you care enough to be able to care less.
If you "couldn’t" care less, it means that you can’t even care less than you already do, to the point of the bottom of the pit of not caring.
Anyway, I think it’s good you pointed it out. Otherwise, how would people realize it? I hope the original poster feels the same. (I was too chicken to say anything, lol.)

BrandyRoseParticipantPerfect analogy of EJ’s character, and I agree.

BrandyRoseParticipantthat you mention it, it is kind of odd that EJ doesn’t get flustered. Is he a robot?

BrandyRoseParticipantopinion. Here is my humble take on Victor and Nicole, and why I think Victor made a mistake:
VICTOR: Victor is, indeed, a sometimes likeable, sometimes loathesome character. I never liked him, to be honest. In the past couple of years, however, I noticed a softening in Victor’s demeanor. He has been growing on me – – that is, when he is being good.
NICOLE: I believe Nicole has also been progressing in character development. All she wants is the happy home life she never had – -whether consciously or subconsciously. I don’t think she really wants to be alone, thus her tendency to cling onto Dan for dear life.
NOTE: I don’t think Dan and Nicole are going to make it. IMO, they have NO communication aspects nor chemistry between them.
BOTTOM LINE CONCLUSION: Therefore, I firmly believe Victor made a mistake. He should have done the talk with Dan in private. Maybe Nicole deserved it in the past, but not the "today" Nicole (so far).

BrandyRoseParticipantenvision a Western movie, where the outlaw grabs the sheriff’s daughter, as if to say, "You have to go through her first," knowing Roman wouldn’t shoot Sami. So, in that way, I think he was, indeed, using her as a shield. (I admit I momentarily missed that tiny part of the scene, but I know you guys got it right.) I wonder if EJ even considered how that must have startled Sami.

BrandyRoseParticipantI have been disgusted with Sami for a long time now. I don’t know when it started, but it must have been way back to when she got into cahoots with EJ. I think he brought out the worst in her. Come to think of it, she irked me most, in later days, when she seemed to be treating Rafe like dirt, showing contemptible distrust, and taking him for granted. Yeah, that’s when I started yelling at the TV, lol.

BrandyRoseParticipantidea, JustWondering! Here is EJ, since day one in Salem, who had everything in control, the big schemer; and now, Sami and Will are bossing him around. LOL. The last couple of days looked pretty silly to me, seeing EJ like that. If your theory turns out, then it would make some sense as to why EJ is going around like a chicken with its head cut off.

BrandyRoseParticipantlove the Yankees, too (re your signature)! Have been a Yankees fan since I was 5, no matter where I have lived around the country. Thanks for your nice comment to my post on the thread.

BrandyRoseParticipantalways felt that it is an indication of a strong relationship (or even friendship), when it can survive an argument – – and you’re right – – especially when things get worked out.
>>> – – >>> @
BrandyRoseParticipantit started with Will and EJ getting into the blackmailing game with one another. When Will began to stick up for EJ for his own reasons, the "bonding" factor became evident. EJ was touched by Will’s efficiency and eventual loyalty.
In Sami’s case, well – – when does Sami not fall for any guy with whom she interacts for more than an hour? (I guess that wasn’t fair.) As it stands now, neither Sami nor Will believe EJ killed Stefano, so they are showing their support. I guess we’re headed down the EJ/Sami path again! I think.
>>> – – >>> @
BrandyRoseParticipantif it was about Stefano being seen wandering around Europe. Don’t ask me why. Sometimes my mind calculates things I don’t even know about, lol. I hear he is on vacation and is supposed to return. (No, please, don’t send him back again! Doggonned it!)

BrandyRoseParticipantIan? Please, no!
In agreement with the thread’s title, I wonder why the identity of EJ’s real father hasn’t come up yet. Hopefully, we will see that story unfold before too long. My uneducated guess: John.

BrandyRoseParticipantglad someone actually KNOWS what really went on, when Gabi set out to steal Chad away from Melanie AND the fact that Will was witness to her intent.
I don’t think Will knows about Melanie’s kidnapping yet. You’re right, Will has been preoccupied lately. But he definitely knew about Gabi’s intent to steal Chad, and he tried to stop her from breaking them up.
I’m glad that someone (you) pays attention and has a good handle on this storyline, Patti. Good job!

BrandyRoseParticipantLuckey! I agree and also would like closure. I hope the truth about Gabi and Andrew gets revealed to Salem. It was too horrific for it to be left hanging.
