It’s 70 degrees this afternoon; just the way I like it. This summer was a bummer- way too hot for me. We did visit Wyoming to see my daughter and her family in July and northern California in August for my niece’s wedding.
Before I joined the Annex board, I lurked for quite a few years. I don’t post very often but I still come to read the great posts that are here. This is still the best board with the nicest posters. The posters here are respectful of one another’s views and feelings.
I only carry a purse to formal affairs which is very rare. I have my credit cards, driver’s license, medical cards, small reading glasses and cell phone in my pockets. When my kids were young, I carried a bag with so much stuff in it that I tilted to one side.
Johnnyboy, you expressed my feelings and, I suspect, many others’ feelings so eloquently. I have been watching on and off since the fall of 1966 through good and bad writing. This was well writen and well done. I won’t say well acted because I don’t think they were acting. Everything seemed like it came from the heart.
I grew up in Queens, NY. I’ve never given elevators a second thought. My aunt lived in an apartment in Brooklyn. When we visited her, my cousins and I would amuse ourselves by riding up and down in the elevator.
The late 70’s brought about the Jenn invasion. Now it’s Emma (Friends Ross’ & Rachel’s baby’s name) and Emily ( the girl Ross called Rachel at the altar).
Loved her on Golden Girls. We saw her in Wicked on Broadway a few years ago; she played Madame Morrible, the headmistress.
