he’s the one new character with some potential. But I figured he couldn’t be good because he was just too persistent in his pursual of Chloe.

    1) Let there be some fun in Salem – date nights, dancing, etc.
    2) Get Chloe a job maybe singing at Chez Rouge or actually show her giving vocal lessons.
    3) More Johnny – love that kid!
    4) Bo and Hope open their own detective agency.
    5) A once a year bigtime storyline that involves all the Salemites.
    6) Exit Taylor asap!

Haley’s reaction when Lauren was announced as the finalist? Pretty obvious she was ticked. I didn’t care for either one, but Haley’s attitude bugged me.

and the forced feelings between her and EJ only highlight that.

onthat Kenny Rodgers choice. It’s a nice enough song, but yeah, Randy or Garth would have challenged him so much more. I actually thought Haley WAS A. Morrisette on that tune – really sounded like her.
Ever notice that Lauren on the verses, especially when she starts a song, is quite soft and weak. It’s only when she revs up to the chorus you notice her. The judges love this girl, but for the most part I’m not seeing (or rather hearing it.)

as I’m in western NY where it has been the wettest spring on record. It’s demoralizing for so many businesses and agriculture, not to mention just plain depressing to see rain every day and you can’t even mow the lawn which is looking like a field.
I also raise goats and they haven’t been able to get on pasture. I can’t see an end in sight right now.
But those who have to evacuate on the Mississippi are the ones having it the worst.

and I did like Meat’s box as boombox idea. Meatloaf though, is SO emotional his problem is getting his thoughts out in under five minutes.
I might be a shade worried about the retro can. Company heads are so protective of their branding, the zebra design might not make 7up instantly recognizable. I’ll be interested to see how that plays.
I love the audition idea for the commercial and then Dee Snider hits them with the original. But looks like it might hit a snag next week?
This last task is the best I’ve seen on this show.

I concluded that Rob deserved the win. He won 4 challenges including the one he needed where Ashley almost beat him. He had the idol which he didn’t need but altered the game.
I thought initially having Natalie in the final 3 along with Phil might lose it for Rob, but the jury unamiously felt Nat was a clinging wimp who couldn’t do anything without Rob’s approval.
Phil was a real disappointment. After proclaiming his grand stradegy about acting the crazed, get on your nerves guy who everyone wanted to take to the finals, he did not play that out in his speech to the jury. Why didn’t he say it was all his brilliant plan, that he really was nothing like this? He was very defensive instead which did him in.
Had Matt won the final challenge – such a shame after all he’d accomplished – it could have been his victory.
But afterall, Rob won challenges, was good around camp, stuck to his original tribe alliance and manipulated the “sheep.” He played his game like he said he would and outwitted, outplayed and outlasted them all.

this show has been on a long time. Maybe they should just fold up the tent.
But then I’ve only seen snippets, so I’m in no real place to comment.

answered who won the first round and said it was a tie among the three, why was it being “mean” to exclude Haley? Obviously he thought her first performance was not up to the others. It did not strike me as anything more than that. Sure, it might have been uncomfortable for her, but this is on the road to the record biz, which is not warm and fuzzy.

I figured JD would go all the way. Trying to figure what happened – mainly how Lauren manages to stick around. I just don’t see her, except maybe her youth and sweet personality is driving the teen vote.
Very disappointed to see James go, but he’ll do fine.
I have no clue now who will win.
