Rob’s tribe considered him some kind of god. Like the incident with the rice – Phil just wanted a spoonful of the one kind and the tribe all gathered round and insisted no, we have to save it for the pack leader Rob. Geesh, don’t these folks realize what a threat Rob is?? I do acknowledge his value in challenges but that’s gone with the merge.
As for Matt, for a guy in pre-med he’s a duffas in other areas. He didn’t keep his mouth shut (didn’t he learn the first time around?!) and back to RI. As if all her life she’s probably been told what a voice she has and believes she can just take this competition. Plus for all those amazing notes she sings, I never get goosebumps. And that’s that certain something all the great ones have that for me is lacking in this girl.
I just learned that according to best estimates, the US gay population composes 1.7% of the population. Yet gay in the media/Hollywood represents a far higher incidence.
Of course it’s because of the much higher gay population in the arts. Which doesn’t make sense since the general viewership doesn’t reflect what tv/movies are dishing out.
Not to say a gay character won’t be/can’t be interesting. But I’d like to show an attempt to tackle everyday issues, not merely to include a token gay guy. Can Days do this?but I agree, very pompous attitude. You should always act humble even if you have to fake it. America just might see that as a reason for the bottom 3.
I also thought Casey was terrific.when he proves he can actually sing. I love his ballads. Jacob has gotten cartoonish by now with me. Hayley I still cannot support – she may have talent but I guess I just don’t care for her style. ITA with Jennifer on Pia. Great technical voice but she needs to up her performance. I still think Miss America bland with her.

Naima either wasn’t on pitch or she took that reggae slant which didn’t work for me. As for Thia, she needs time and stage presence. I’m sure Paul will be among the next to go.
I still am not able to warm up to Pia. This is a singing competetion so I acknowledge she belongs at the top. But there’s something just too pagentry about her performances and a lack of identity.
