ParticipantRob’s tribe considered him some kind of god. Like the incident with the rice – Phil just wanted a spoonful of the one kind and the tribe all gathered round and insisted no, we have to save it for the pack leader Rob. Geesh, don’t these folks realize what a threat Rob is?? I do acknowledge his value in challenges but that’s gone with the merge.
As for Matt, for a guy in pre-med he’s a duffas in other areas. He didn’t keep his mouth shut (didn’t he learn the first time around?!) and back to RI. After all his efforts in those duels, odds are he’s in for a loss.casey
Participantthe judges seemed so shocked and felt it had to be because the Pia supporters thought she was a shoo-in and didn’t vote. Uh judges, America was looking at something other than just a great voice. Pia did not move the viewership – if you had come on the Salem Place forum you would have known that.
Let the games begin!casey
ParticipantI agree there is something about her that doesn’t seem to come from deep inside. As if all her life she’s probably been told what a voice she has and believes she can just take this competition. Plus for all those amazing notes she sings, I never get goosebumps. And that’s that certain something all the great ones have that for me is lacking in this girl.

ParticipantI just learned that according to best estimates, the US gay population composes 1.7% of the population. Yet gay in the media/Hollywood represents a far higher incidence.
Of course it’s because of the much higher gay population in the arts. Which doesn’t make sense since the general viewership doesn’t reflect what tv/movies are dishing out.
Not to say a gay character won’t be/can’t be interesting. But I’d like to show an attempt to tackle everyday issues, not merely to include a token gay guy. Can Days do this?casey
Participantbut I agree, very pompous attitude. You should always act humble even if you have to fake it. America just might see that as a reason for the bottom 3.
I also thought Casey was terrific.casey
Participantwhen he proves he can actually sing. I love his ballads. Jacob has gotten cartoonish by now with me. Hayley I still cannot support – she may have talent but I guess I just don’t care for her style. ITA with Jennifer on Pia. Great technical voice but she needs to up her performance. I still think Miss America bland with her.

Participantpatented Days triangle coming w/Jenn/Carly/Dan.

Participantfor that synopsis.

Participantso did the docs say Faye wouldn’t make it?

Participantwith the time between the article being written and published, this story probably looked good in the beginning. I think Rafe2 as a villain could be interesting, but in a far different SL. I just don’t like the scenes between him and Sami.

Participantis one tough cookie. I give her all the credit for accomplishing so much in spite of her hearing impairment.
That Meatloaf going off was a real tirade.
It was nice to see both teams win that mega $ for their charities.casey
ParticipantDays brass sat around the conference table and said, okay, it’s time to trot out the obligatory gay storyline. Ted Corday must be turning in his grave to see his beloved show in shambles.

Participantcharacters and storylines involving the likes of Taylor and Dario, and this increasingly unsavory biz with the two Rafes, it’s no wonder ratings take a dive.
I still am completely clueless as to what supposedly creative minds are putting on Days. Any one of us here could come up with better SLs without much thought.casey
Participantget any work done if I tuned into that. It will be really cool when the little ones decide to take flight for the first time.

ParticipantNaima either wasn’t on pitch or she took that reggae slant which didn’t work for me. As for Thia, she needs time and stage presence. I’m sure Paul will be among the next to go.
I still am not able to warm up to Pia. This is a singing competetion so I acknowledge she belongs at the top. But there’s something just too pagentry about her performances and a lack of identity. -
