the preview also made it look ominous for Matt. Something about his reign being “in jeopardy.” I guess it depends what the challenge is. But Matt has come this far so I dearly hope he doesn’t end up losing to an inferior player simply due to an injury.
We’ll see how Rob does in the merge.

so I’m bummed if I didn’t see the performance of the night. This was the first time I really noticed/appreciated Lauren. Very well done. Jacob tonight shattered all the subtleties of that EJ song and he’s got to be reined in; otherwise becoming a caricature.
Naima didn’t do it for me and Thia, although song well enough was totally a bore. Pia still a great voice but leaves me a bit hollow.
Loved Casey tonight and James was a lot of fun. Paul (aka Yakov!) was just okay. Scotty solid and Stefano I just love the tone of his voice. Better connection this week.
    So who goes?

if the snake somehow got out of the reptile house. Everyone is sure it’s still in there. Cobras are among the brightest of the venomous snakes, and the King Cobra quite intelligent.

Days wouldn’t have had Carly inject herself for a one time thing. I do think she will get into self medicating, and done right (not the superficial way Days usually does these SLs) again, a chance for some powerful drama. I’ve grown to like Carly much better these days and will be interested to see where this is headed.

same comment some time ago about the likeness between Ciera and Taylor. I caught a glimpse of an early Liz in a Lassie movie the other day and there is a strong resemblance. If they make another film about Taylor’s life this actress should be first in line to play the young star.

I have all the respect for her as a musical artist. But her behaviior last night, including handing her firing on a plate to Trump was less than honorable. So much for wanting to help a charity.

This is exactly what I came to post. IF this Ciara situation splits BOPE again, this soon after their reunion Corday & Co, need their heads examined. What on earth can they be thinking? I only hope this serves to bring the family closer – ala how they deal with it now instead ofhow they would have in the past, it could actually be a beneficial SL.
If not, this is a serious breech of faith toward viewers.

that when Kristina (was that her name?) was voted off and went to RI to compete against Matt she turned into this very Christian girl. I would never have thought that from the way she acted in her alliance w/Stephanie and Russell.

between Dario and Keeanu Reeves? I think he kinda looks like Reeves and seems to have taken up his “less is more” approach to acting.

is kind of unfair the way I look at it. Matt’s been successfully fending off competitors for what – 4 weeks now? What if he keep winning til, say, the last week or two? And if someone then beats him, that person would be the one to stay in the game?
Is that how it works? If so, how fair is it if Matt beats out all the comers til the end and then is forced to leave while the person staying would only have to duel once or twice?

he was definitely a one trick pony on AI before this year. All you got out of him was “pitchy dude” or “it didn’t work for me.” What a turnaround in the content of his comments this year – and he’s so relaxed, not worrying about what Simon was going to do or say.
And everyone thought this show was doomed without SC? Who misses him!

Jen’s hubby. Sounded like Marc was beneficial in his role at helping the contestants and loved how he disagreed w/his wife.
I don’t really care that the “save” card is used up now. Except if somehow Scotty was on the ropes. I hope he goes far.

the voters thought the same as I did, that Casey’s gravely, snarling delivery is getting a bit tiresome. Even Randy more than hinted tonight that Casey was maybe forcing it and to just sing.
Will be interested to see how he adjusts and which two will be eliminated next week.
For sure though, we know the judges really like this guy.
