Although I did get a chuckle out of Galen’s Rafe2 today.

For me he was hands down spectacular. By far the best performance from him so far. Darn, I didn’t hear James so can’t comment.
Hayley I still don’t connect with. Too much of that “growling” which bugs me. My one overall criticism with many of these singers is they way overdo songs.
Naima definitely her best last night. Casey I have to admit I like but is wearing a bit thin. That kind of snarling approach I guess just isn’t my thing.
But weirdly I do like Paul and I loved him last night.
Scotty as always good, Thia okay too, but she needs to get an identity. Pia is beginning to bring more emotion.
I was disappointed in Stefano. Too much “lounge lizard” and I would rather see him do some classic motown. I don’t consider Lionel Ritchie in that genre.
Lauren still just hasn’t caught my interest.

a storyline where Chloe starts giving lessons and meets someone through this. Someone with charisma who clicks with her and they can sing together.
But it’s always on the back burner that Doc Dan may indeed be Parker’s dad, and if so then what?

crying/whining/ feeling sorry for herself or blasting away at someone. Will Dario be the next pairing w/her? Oh gee, can’t wait!

“dragging” out plots, but the plots themselves get tedious too quickly. Rafe2 was interesting for a few episodes but it has gotten same ol’, and now with the less than scintillating Dario in the mix I’m anxious to either see some entertaining stuff or close it out.
Also the pace of today’s culture with everything “instant” has contributed to our limited attention span. What was tolerated 15/20 years ago – like the storylines of the past mentioned above – just doesn’t seem to cut it today.
But above all, character/relationship development is sadly lacking. I am far more interested in Kate/Stef and Mags/Vic than the other musical couples.

first day back. I think it was three days’ worth of episodes that he kept saying he was on the way to the cop shop but it went on and on.

I saw in him was when he was doing magic w/Johnny. Otherwise, not engaging me. And to think we’re probably about to get a Mel/Dario pairing.

and I wrap it around my head w/bobby pins after washing it. Straightens it nicely – that is, until I go out in the rain!

It’s my fav era – Marvin Gaye’s What’s Goin’ On, Smokey’s Tears of a Clown and my alltime MT gem, Just My Imagination by the Temptations.
    Now that’s music!
I think Stefano should shine with this genre.

of him to be pushing her right after her breakup w/Phil and right after a miscarriage. Who can care about a character with so little tact?

is getting better each week with her comments. I’m very impressed and she’s such a breath of fresh air.

for me the first half of the contestants were pretty rough. But as usual Scotty shined and liked Stefano too. Pia can sure sing, but there’s still this generic feel I get from her. Thia was boring and I don’t like Hayley at all. Casey was over the top but I find him entertaining. Same w/Jacob.
But overall this was not a great show.

It’s obvious Galen is having a blast with this bad boy role. But all of Salem is dumb as rocks if they truly believe an accident that shows nothing medically wrong could change this guy to this degree.
