at the moment. She asked Carly to put in a good word for her to get back in.

said so much about father and son and how complex their relationship has been.

Days is determined to let da plot steamroll over characters. and history. Why must every storyline be about breaking up relationships? Yes, I understand that’s a soap staple, but there are other interesting topics to address. To trash Bo and Hope this way and make Carly the bad guy who everyone continually forgives – Melanie does it daily! – is insulting to me.

getting the lowest vote. I’m not sure it was just from lack of votes. Maybe fans agreed with Simon on his criticism of Mike’s theatrical approach? He certainly did not deserve to be in that position.
But interesting to see which two will go next week.

with Carly moving in. Funny how no one has consulted her – Bo says she’ll stay w/Dan& Chloe and that’s it. This protection of Carly is absurd. I haven’t bought it from the getgo and Bo has become a character I increasingly dislike. Days made a huge blunder on this one and I still don’t fathom why.

For me, rarely have characters returned, particularly couples, after many years away to recapture the good ‘ol days. Too much water under the bridge, history forgotten, just getting older.
But to be fair, we haven’t seen enough of Adrienne yet, and importantly with Justin to see if the chemistry is still there. And oh how writing is so very important, and Days has been rather dicey with its couples.

was the best overall show so far. I think it reflects the staying power of Beatles songs and it’s pretty hard to goof one up. No one was really awful and Tim got some positive feedback for once, from Simon.
Don’t know who will be in the bottom three, though it might be Garcia’s time to go?

because of Will’s more dominant stance and they felt the first actor wasn’t up to it?
    Does anyone know?

This contrived writing to pair her with EJ is IMO making her look worse by the day. What is wrong with this woman? The shabby treatment of Rafe who has done nothing but be there, turning to rapist EJ because of her incredible gullible stupidity, and turning on her son makes me simply not want to care about Sami these days. I think Days is going far off the path on this one.

The expressions on that baby are the best thing on Days for me. Talk about watchable!

get out of this hanging around funk she’s in, and instead of having a self-pity party, take some action and form an opera company in Salem. I’m SOoo tired of plots focusing on bad, revolving door relationships.
You know Days, there’s more to life out there!

I only caught a couple performances so have no idea who did what. Did viewers agree with the decision? Was Shannon worse than Buzz or did something else factor in?

from Didi and Siobhan. I didn’t for once, think Tim was as bad as usual. Certainly no memorable performance but I thought his song was sweetly done in a very High School Musical style. I could see him in that genre.
I actually loved Crystal more than the judges. She showed me a more vulnerable side which was nice to see. I thought Garcia finally rediscovered his groove – I love the texture of his voice.
Michael performed very well, but have to admit I was a bit bored by the song.
    I’d vote Didi off.
I agree – this should be the swan song for Idol.

Redeem Carly? I never got how/why she turned into a character we’ve despised, unless it was the writers’ way to tear her down to build her up again by putting together a family unit.
Maybe same with Bo? Yes, SO plot-driven, but it seems the M.O. for this current writing staff.
BTW, I did like how Mel called Dan “Dad” yesterday.
