caseyParticipant
I really take inspiration from your plight and how you are handling it. Prayers are coming your way for hope and peace and life – in this world and the next!
caseyParticipantthat Anna could seduce a Gov to pardon Nicole. First off, is Nicole even that important? And second, how tight were Anna and the Gov? Third, like Anna would have that kind of clout (She ain’t no Cleopatra!) to accomplish this in one day, if ever. Laughable.
caseyParticipantBut I felt that Lacey at least was a bit more unique than Tim. However, I don’t feel Tim will last long either.
caseyParticipantAnna has the most gorgeous head of hair you’ll see. Beautiful color, thickness, body – I think she may have been a Breck Girl in her early days?
LOL over Kate’s bowtie – I don’t get that fashion statement, but then Kate’s wardrobe is consistent!caseyParticipantDid she actually say if she went to the Big House that would clear the way for a B&H reunion??! First off, it makes her sound like the ultimate deluded martyr. And/or does she think that much of herselfand that no one could take “her” man as long as she was in the picture?
Third, and most important, IF she really thinks she’s being so noble to plead guilty, than why would she need prison to back away from Bo? Why doesn’t this piece of work take the high road and get the heck outta Bo’s life!
How could anyone stand up for Doctor Manning!!March 14, 2010 at 10:05 pm in reply to: My local paper had a question about Suzanne Rogers in the Parade… #11275caseyParticipantParade was probably going on old info. A solid national magazine like that though, should get up to speed!
I did think it an odd question – I mean, the person asked if Suzanne was still on Days. Like she needed to write into Parade?caseyParticipantthey like writing her adolescent mentality that allows her firecracker, loud mouth reactions. But I for one have gotten sick of this because she has a very short memory and continues to buy into EJ’s manipulations when, let’s face it, any dufus wold know better by now.
I really like her and Rafe, but this good man deserves better and he comes off, at times as rather hangdog in his dealings w/Sami.caseyParticipantAbout Carly.
caseyParticipantSami missed out on the first year of Syd’s life and then didn’t even have her long before she was taken. Days blew this one royally.
caseyParticipantNot sure how far they can take this, except to show an increasing disability. I really felt, like you, the alcoholic story could have been so much more dramatic and could have involved more people. Disappointed in this one so far.
March 11, 2010 at 2:17 pm in reply to: I really enjoyed the conversation between Stephanie and Melanie….. #11210caseyParticipantWell written and played out. It really showed Steph’s true colors and that she will play hard ball to keep Nathan.
March 10, 2010 at 1:56 pm in reply to: I’d like to hear some feedback on American Idol talent this year. The earlier post was all about Howard Stern, so…. #11180caseyParticipantand has to be the front runner. There WERE improvements but a few were downright dreadful, so much that you wonder how they got to this point.
caseyParticipantpre-designed for the show. It didn’t come off though like they probably hoped, and I’m sure most viewers like you and me assumed it was legit.
I wasn’t as turned off by Martin&Baldwin as many, but I agree on many points made here. (BTW, Alec’s posture throughout seemed awkward.) I believe one host is the best way to go. If I could choose I’d nominate Michael Caine. That guy is hilarious and quick on his feet, for those who’ve never seen an interview with the actor.
Yes yes yes, what on earth does anyone see in Neil Harris? Critics raved over his previous awards hosting and frankly I just don’t get him.
For me, Sandra’s Bullock’s performance was not Oscar worthy. Don’t get me wrong, she did a competent job, but I don’t look at that flick and think I couldn’t see anyone else in the role. Actually, I believe there are many actresses who could have shined. It was, IMO, the inspirational material that drove the film.caseyParticipantWhen he and Sami and EJ are in a room together, EJ and Sami appear on one side and Rafe is left like by the door looking isolated, a bit woebegotten and a third wheel.
I hate that the writers continue to pull the wool over Sami’s eyes and this eternal seesaw of putting Rafe off to the side when trouble comes and then running back to him for two seconds, claiming he’s her man.
Rafe IMO should stop acting like a dorky puppy and leave Sami in the dust until she grows up and wants a genuine honest relationship. He should let her have it big time.March 5, 2010 at 10:49 pm in reply to: I’d like to hear some feedback on American Idol talent this year. The earlier post was all about Howard Stern, so…. #11111caseyParticipantI find it ludricrous that the judges hailed this year’s crop as the best ever. Say what?? Compared to last year’s stellar group, I have to wonder what the judges were listening to. There are a few possibilities, but overall, who stands out as AI material? As able to sell millions of records and capture our imagination?
And as the judges are saying that the contestants just aren’t ready yet, or don’t know what kind of style they are etc, I’m thinking, “but YOU picked them!”
After the early rounds of my liking Ellen, I agree she’s saying nothing unique, stating the obvious. She should use her comedic talent more and let loose.
And Kara criticizing the performances but always adding, “but I still like you” is getting old.
Simon appears to be showing his “lame duck” weariness of the show and perhaps has lost his bite due to his new engagement.
Or maybe the judges are simply bored with these “hopefuls” that, at least at this point, do not measure up. I have to think America will be tuning out more and more. -
