how low this pair has sunk with only the Days brass/writers to blame. When the producers look at this and then flash ahead to the current sorry state of their once super pair, what are they thinking? B&H were so dynamic back then and most importantly, entertaining to watch. New viewers who haven’t seen B&H in the good ol days got a glimpse of why we veterans are angry about this boring fall from grace that seemingly knows no resolution.
Viv to Swanson. Likely many on the forum too young to know her, as she was a silent screen star who later made the legendary Sunset Boulevard where she delightfully camped her way to a memorable iconic role. Worth watching.
This round in circles, tedious, reptetitious B&H story is doing exactly what I’d think the Days brass wouldn’t want – for viewers to wash their hands of this pair.
Why are they doing this? Just as an excuse to put Carly w/Bo and Hope w/Justin?
Hope acting the victim is pathetic. Let her show some spunk and maybe I’ll start caring again.I have always loved Julie’s fiesty take no prisoners attitude. I know some viewers believe she’s way over the top but I love it.
she was distracted by Phil. So this girl clearly doesn’t know what she wants and why should she? I think we tend to forget she is just a baby – only 18. Mel should not be settling down with any guy.
The ornament hanging ceremony was pretty rushed IMO. And I felt Hope was really reaching out to Bo, and yet again he didn’t reciprocate. This limbo B&H are in shows no signs of letting up. I’m surprised no one has mentioned counseling as a start.
I would have liked Doug to sing a carol. And it would be nice if we got to hear Chloe sing.
Not the usual Horton/Brady Christmas of Days past.That’s what I don’t get. I cannot see any way this would jibe with her background/personality etc. I can’t imagine her cheering on Salem High to victory!
Having said that, I hope once the new Will arrives we’ll see some more sparkle w/both characters. Unless of course, Mia really wants Chad. The reaction when she saw Chad w/Gabby makes me wonder.This plot was so ludricious (with oxygen being pumped into the coffin!) it was way beyond belief. Yet it kept me glued to my seat every day. Kind of like watching an accident.
This guy was never allowed to grow up. So therefore I won’t miss him. I guess the writers want to focus on a Sami/Rafe/EJ triangle.
Today was a low watermark w/Carly admitting she was still in love w/Bo. That I can understand, but if Bo reciprocates I have no respect for the guy. My problem is he doesn’t appear to have any drive/passion to rekindle his marriage. This ho-hum attitude for Days’ once high profile, rock solid pair is unacceptable to me.
And Carly is pretty scummy too, for outing her feelings right in Bo and Hope’s living room. She should butt out until and if Bo and Hope really do split.
And Hope should fire up and reclaim her territory.
