I remember when Days used to celebrate practically every holiday. And I miss the big showy events too, like masquerade balls.
From today’s show I’m now thinking Carly’s daughter is Melanie. Because I noted that during their discussion, neither Bo nor Carly ever mentioned her name. And since Days led viewers to believe it was Mia based on the pier meeting plus the exchange at Maggie’s, I’m thinking that was a diversion and that Mel will now turn out to be Carly’s kid. And I’m betting there won’t be the same warm fuzzy chemistry as with Mia.
I’m sure her acting days are long over, but how fortunate we were to have so much valuable airtime from this actress.
Maybe since Alice is still referred to as living in Salem, Days is waiting for a tribute when Frances passes away.
If that isn’t the case, then shame on them. I mean Alice Horton IS Days.I definitely did not get the impression Bo is the father – unless, of course, Carly kept this from him. I think Days would be making a horrible mistake and turn viewers off it it turned out he was the dad.
Her current sidekick is just too low key. Ivan was a riot and surely he and Viv made one of the best “super couples” in Days history.
It is nice to see Louise back and I look forward to seeing the trouble she will stir up.Steph, for all her education and background still stands out to me as obsessed with having a boyfriend. Period. There is little fleshing out of her character, good or bad.
Looks like Days is trying to set up the Hernandez’ as the new family in town. Of course, details are always hazy so they can introduce characters who will – surprise! – end up as relatives.
I can’t read Gaby yet, but could well set up a wedge between Mia and Will which is Days’ M.O., though Chad might figure in as well.
