It’s unfortunant that the writers can’t give John something to do besides have brief disagreements with Brady and Marlena. Marlena said today that there was nothing left for John in Salem. From a writing stanpoint the character is correct. I guess the writer’s may have been giving us a clue on John’s future. Hopefully when Kristin returns John will be part of the plot. It is "summer in Salem" so that means more young character time.
How many times can Daniel allow Jennifer to go off the deep end over nothing. The writing on this is real weak.
I thought te wedding was well written. I do think it could have been handled in two days instead of three, but of course other storylines are ongoing. It was good to see so many regulars in that many episodes.
Days is the only soap I watch , so I can’t compare the others . I watched many soaps in the 70’s early 80’s because my first wife liked them. My point, I think straight or gay the bedroom scenes get a little boring at times. I do tend to fast forward when the bedroom scene comes up for the second time in an episode unless some other plot point is included.
As soon as Nicole put the shredded material in the park trash can, I figured JJ would be right behind her on his community service duty.
I have no idea where the writers are going with this. Frankly I have seen the actor play a few chords and that’s it. He may be a legit guitarist , but he hasn’t shown it yet.
Their meeting have been very soap opera predictable. Dislike for each other that turns into a relationship. the reason for Bo being gone this long has not really been explained. John may have some news. Bo needs to be recast or soap opera killed off.
Stefano is generally missed when he is off the canvas.
Joe has been around so long that he has done just about all he can do with the character. I’m just glad he is still acting on DOOL, he really has arthritis bad in the hands now, or it appears so to me.
I do really wonder what the writers were thinking with the Stefano will turn over a new leaf if Chad is saved. Yes Stefano has mellowed a bit but he won’t really change.Without Bo they need a character like Steve/Patch to make the show interesting. Hopeflly John Black will be used better this time around also.
I sort of thought the same thing yesteday. But my wife reminded me that it was said that one of Will’s professors put him in for it. Maybe this is the way to have the new actor brought in.
Another wasted character. Nick had a lot of potential the first time around as kind of a goofy nerd. I realize characters have to grow but I really don’t think anybody cares what happens to Nick at this point.
With all of the background checking Kate did on the therapist she certainly would have wanted to see a picture. Bad writing, just to give a plot for the actors. The writers could have delivered the plot more effectively.
Yes he is from Georgia. Conyers, East of Atlanta I believe. A lot of actors his age have decided it is important to finish their education. I say bravo. Chandler has really improved since he first started and is far superior to the actor that portrayed Will before him. I know they won’t call that actor back because he quit over the Gay storyline and was recently involved in a real drug bust.
