Anne is pretty much written one with no redeeming qualities.  The actress did show she could do comedy in the night club scene when she was three sheets to the wind.   I think it is important that she can be right about Jen’s lack of being in/out the office.  I really think it may be kind of an "in Joke"  based on the fact that the writers never show anybody doing much work.

Teresa is one dimensional as a overage brat/user.  If it brings her mom and dad to town for a few shots I think it is worth it for now. They are probably going to blame her problems on her mom and dad being apart for so many years.

I think Kate and Rafe work well together.  Alas this is a soap.  So the new therapist will fill out the triangle.

We root for Jen and Dr Dan.   Marlena and John, but on a soap no primary character with any amount of libido stays happy with the love of their life.

I think a wedge has been put between Rafe and Kate over the "Dimera word of honor" thing.  Kate was looking for a way to find Stefano guilty of the crime without breaking his vow.  She did it and was about to tell Rafe.  However the new therapist came in first.  Kate hired her and she is going to regret it, I do believe.

The characters you love to hate.  They make soaps interesting when they play their parts well.

I thought the inside joke from Julie about the "cruises" was great.

"Where’s Doug and Julie?" " oh they are on a cruise". Often used line to cover their absence.

Yes Chad is a Dimera according to the birth certificate.  Stefano claimed him right away.  I just think the Stefano disowning EJ when he thought he wasn’t "blood" was stupid since he claims Kristen who isn’t .  He claimed Tony,  of course he did keep Tony on a deserted island for 20 years.  Good ole dad.

When Maggie broke the fourth wall and addressed the audience at the end of the Christmas episode, it reminded me of Alice.  Maggie has become the defacto Alice and a touch of Julie from the stand point of her use on the show.

She never had a son really so she is being over protective of Daniel, unfortunantly he is a grown man and has enough on his plate without having to deal with a doting mother he barely knows.

The way they have been showing pictures of Jack lately , I don’t think the idea is as far fetched as some of the other "back from the dead" characters.  Actually Jack did come back from the dead when his car went off a bridge a few years ago just as Jennifer was about to marry Frankie Brady.  Steve/Patch basically came back from the dead at the same time.

Didn’t really give a lot of background on the current storyline in my opinion.  But it was great fun to watch.

Sean SR, Lexie, and Mickey were good to see.

It really shows how the plotlines have not changed.  Take down the Dimeras always the bottom line.

I wasn’t watching the show during this time. I took a ten year break from 1993-2003. I came back with the Salem Slasher Marlena storyline.

The Billie and Jennifer replacements looked the part but didn’t have the acting chops to carry it off.

The Baby Elvis would be about 16 if he had'[t been aged.

Maggie looked great and I agree hasn’t aged.  These soap stars have fantastic plastic surgery done. A little at a time so that it is not so apparant.

I think Carolne’s departure was set up to give Bo a credible reason for leaving.  Otherwise if they were going to do the ALZ plotline it would have stayed in Salem.

The producers said they would leave the door open and that is what has happened.  I thought the send off was handled well.  Peter got to interact with all the cast , Saving his last words with Hope.  My guess is that Caroline will return alone at some time. Possibly with another Brady as escort.

the Bo storyline will move on to stopping Stephano and he will be in limbo like Patch was for so many years.

Yes, Hope will get involved with someone else. that is the way Soaps work.

Rafe said he told Carrie when he thought everyone was going to be blown up in the safehouse.  I think Sami shoud be able to forgive him under those circumstances.

The writers spent several months on the "if you are not blood, you are not a Dimera" storyline, no mention of Kristen and now she is a Dimera, Stephano is "Father" and she is on a mission to straighten her "brothers" out.

The idea of Bo leaving the force because of the pay cut makes sense.  Taking off with or without his mother doesn’t.Hope would never go along with this.  She would either go with him or convince him to stay.

If Caroline leaves with Bo and really has ALZ then Peggy McKay’s days are numbered on the show.  Only thing I can come up with is that it turns out not to be the correct diagnosis and something else is causing the memory loss.

I don’t know if it has ever been discussed but I assume Jennifer has a degree in journalism.  I mean how long does it take to become an MD in Salem.  Her experience in newspaper reporting and as a talk show host would certainly qualify for a job in public relations at a hospital.

Jenn is going through some stress disorder over Jack’s death but she has known Nicole for a long time and we all know Nicole is only out for her own gain no matter who else it ruins in the process. she is trying to help Dr Dan but the writers are using her problems to paint her into a corner.  It’s only a plot everything always finally goes away on DOOL.
