I could be wrong but I think Kate found a document (birth certificate maybe) that names Stefano as Chad’s father.
I watched the last episode that John Lupton(Tom Jr) appeared on in 1979. I remember the actor well from the Broken Arrow tv series. I think Sandy Horton was his daughter and that carried on the name for a few years. Was Nick Fallon related to Sandy, I never could remember wher he fit in the family tree?
My Bill was Ed Mallory during the 70-80s time frame. I never saw the first actor or the third actor.
The current recast is great, too bad it couldn’t have been done by Mickey’s funeral. I would like to see the actor stay on. An older seasoned MD at the hospital would be good for the show.
The Bill character was always a ladies man, remember Mickey was married to Laura and it turned our Mike was Bill’s son not Mickey. I wasn’t watching during the Bill/Kate get together that produced Lucas, but I will say that the current actor could really heat things up for the older female actors on Days.
Deidre Hall will be 63 this year. Drake is about 8 years younger than her. I think the characters were supposed to be closer in age than that. I have some tapes from 2003 (Salem Stalker) where Marlena looks older than she did when Deidre left the show last year. They have minimum plastic surgery when they go on vacation rather thn drastic work every five or six years like some stars.
Sometimes on graveyard shots the year date is covered on the markers by a hand, flowers etc. to make it more difficult to figure the years.
Nope. Sammi would have to get a security clearance for this type of FED job and she would never get one based on her longtime antics. Actually very few people in Salem would pass a real background check particularly the members of the police dept.
Great news. My memories of Days go back to the mid seventies when Mickey lost his memory and ended up at Maggies farm house doorstep. I drifted away from the show from time to time but have been an avid viewer again since 2003 during the middle of the Salem Slasher storyline when I saw promos of my longtime favorites being picked off one by one. The writing on Days is not the greatest right now but I think the fans are getting to see some of their favorites return even if only for short stints.
The writers used the Max 2 day return to the best of their ability, he interacted with several characters to help bring everyone up to speed if they had missed a few episodes. I was glad they used him in scenes with Caroline and Bo. Of course the main point was to get interaction with Melanie.
Hope brought this on herself, she pulled the rug out from under Bo after the Sierra kidnapping. Bo and Hope are cops, Hope needed to act like one and not like Sammi has during the second child faux kidnapping.
I think part of Bo’s reaction to Carly now is to keep her from pleading guilty and going to jail.
Of course Bo and Hope will eventually get back together but the writers have to split them up from time to time to keep the story going. That said Bo and Hope have not been used well as a couple for a long time.
Bo’s visions went away after he was hit on the back of the head in the cabin by the brother of the female kidnapper of Cierra. There was only one mention by him that I remember regarding the loss of the ability.
PEGGY McCAY is a great actress whose career goes back to the early fifties. Days is lucky to have her, I wish she would be used more. She seems to be having a little trouble talking now. I’m glad to see she still is landing other roles. Cold Case uses a lot of seasoned actors. John Anniston (Victor) was on a few weeks ago.
She was written out as Bonnie Lockhart by going to jail for killing her husband. She covered up for her daughter who actually killed the husband/father but she didn’t remember it. She then came back with a hair dye job to play Adrienne the sister of Patch, not much of a storyline for her and she was written out again, actually I believe she was only recurring as Adrienne.
As we all know in soapland if a couple is happy they have no storyline and they are probably on their way out ala Brady and Cloe several years ago. If Bo hadn’t hit the sheets with Carly there would not have been near the guilt that he will feel when Hope tells him about Mickey’s death. My understanding is that this is eventually going to bring them back together, but without the BoCar love scene there is really not a lot to play with except rehashing the problems with Zack’s death and Sierr’a kidnapping.
BRADY (KYLE LOWDER) and NICOLE were handcuffed together at one time in the mansion and Nicole tried to take advantage of the situation. Brady and Nicole never were a big item. This is a total retcon of the plot. I wonder what the current Brady would do if he knew Nicole tried to put cocaine in his drink. They have simply made Brady the "go to guy’ for ladies in distress.
