Salem will celebrate the Fourth of July (ignoring holidays annoys me)
and worried that Abe and Kayla are going to be forced down our throats for some reason. I just have a feeling about it.
I recently had bangs cut and love them…but Nicole’s look like someone just put a bowl on her head and cut around the front. Sami’s are SO stick straight that they are almost horizontal! Not flattering on either of these beautiful women!
i meant to post about Sami’s bangs as well…they’re so bad! I wondered if I was the only one who thought they looked bad!
I have secondary embarassment for Peter Reckell. That was horrible. The dialog, the accent, the "burglar" clothes—I had to force myself to watch. I so enjoy Maggie and Victor’s scenes though!
I’m not sure that I can handle Days without Bo again. I’m with mommytutu on this one. It seems odd that they are cutting some characters and bringing back old ones….guess they want to shake things up, as these characters/sorylines are stagnant. I’ll do some serious thinking about watching if Bo is gone.
Excited about Belle coming back, but I want Shawn too. Guess I can’t win them all.
Wasn’t Rex one of the "aliens" who were Marlena’s kids? Or did I dream that up? Seems like there was a girl–twins? Speaking of twins, they don’t do well on Days. Poor Eric Brady.
With Lexi gone I wouldn’t miss Abe either. And I bet all the kids will be seen less often than they already are. John and Marlena need to stay as well as Bo and Hope. Sami and EJ are definites…along with Nicole.
Personally, I could do without
Kayla- she’s just waitressing and is a waste of talent
Sonny- going nowhere storylines
Abe- without Lexi, he’s boring
Gabi- just because
Which others do you think could go without ruining the show?
I have a friend looking for someone too! I’m gonna mention it to her today and I’m sure it will work like a charm! Let’s just hope she doesn’t end up in a non-existant country speaking with a bad accent! haha
I suppose you have a point if it’s a soap actor. It is possible to have a protective surface for them to fall on. It’s pretty common for actors and stunt people–can you imagine an actress like Jennifer Lawrence in the Hunger Games needing a sofa or mattress to fall on? I’ll give you the "don’t want to hit the ground hard" part…but the faint itself was lame.
I just don’t think I could handle a love scene with Hope using that accent! and John swallowing her!
thank goodness he was onscreen today and you mentioned him…I had forgotten all about the poor little guy! Hopefully someone will remember Ciara soon!
I missed a week’s worth of Day’s and I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone. Hope/John as Princess Gina and The Pawn —again? It was boring the first time around. Now it’s just ridiculous. I agree with everyone on the streaks in her hair? Stefano must have a cosmetology license I suppose. And that ridiculous accent is annoying. The Pawn stares at her like she’s a steak on the grill. I SO wanted John and Marlena back in Salem…but definitely not like this. And poor Ciara. Her dad is in a coma/dying and her mom is in a non-existant land talking like a fake Disney princess and smoking footlong cigarettes! She doesn’t stand a chance of being the least bit normal.
And if that wasn’t enough: Sami is suddenly back in love with Lucas. Rafe cares enough about Nicole to claim her baby as his own. And Carrie is having a snot-fest because Rafe isn’t in love with her?
It’s like someone passes a notebook around the writers table and everyone writes a line of dialogue without reading what has previously been written. I guess I should post something positive after all this…I AM looking forward to summer. The summer storylines always seem to be better. I hope I’m not wrong.
Sami’s hair made her look like a grown woman but her words and actions sure didn’t match. And the way Marlena had to reprimand her in front of everyone at the pub made it seem like she was 17!
