that I read somewhere that Dr. Dan is gonna be Maggie’s son. And that would make Melanie her grand-daughter. Dan’s father is a friend of Victor’s ( Victor is his god-father) so there may be conflict with Maggie being in a love triangle prior to her marriage to Victor. I can’t remember what the website was or I’d post a link…sorry.
the suspense was killing me! I like the idea of Melanie and Maggie having a DNA connection…they are so good at being friends that being family will be even nicer. So correct me if I’m wrong, but when Daniel came to Salem, didn’t Victor bring him to the hospital to save Bo? I seem to remember that Victor said that Daniel was his godson, the son of a very good friend. So who would be Daniel’s father if Maggie is his mom? Could lead to a new character —maybe a love interest for poor perpetual babysitting Caroline?
And off topic…I love Melanie’s bangs.

reading the comment about Daniel not being who we think he is…gave me chills! I love Dr. Dan…can’t wait to see what that storyline is going to be.

After reading this thread…I realized I haven’t FF’d for about 8 episodes! I’m so glad that I have something to look forward to on tv! I’m so glad all this is happening just before the holidays! I’m excited!!!!
Just getting caught up…but I thought the same thing. Falling asleep with all those kids around? After Day 1? and it seems as if she just worked an eight hour day (at BEST)! They need to write this storyline a LOT more realistically! It has tons of potential if they won’t destroy it with silliness. I’m embarassed for Ali having to portray some of this nonsense!
Someone has taken the hint from viewers….I love the new music. It’s starting to feel like Olden Days…haha!
I agree…seems there is lots more to "discuss". The writers seem much more realistic. Financial troubles and Nicole helping EJ get his kids back—real life stuff. So much more interesting than the previous drama that was going on. I’m excited about the holidays coming up as well. New writers hopefully will keep it up!
I think both Nadia and JP’s mothers are worse than most soap-opera characters! I hope they are only being this bad for the cameras…why would anyone tolerate their behavior in real life? I think Nadia’s mom is a lot like Kate. Nothing is good enough and she is way too vocal about her opinions. Nadia needs to put her in her place. I’m not disrespectful to my mother but I don’t think she should be to my spouse/sig. other either. I can’t believe people act like that in real life. Where are their manners?
And JP…he needs to grow up. Farah can be bossy but he’s a grown man. He needs to unfold his backbone and stand up to both these women!
Kelly needs a personality.
Kristen is an interesting person…lots going on in her life. I see a lot of the show revolving around her in the future.
I am enjoying it so far!
she has talent…and the character has a backbone. It’s nice to have a new character who happens to be female and not a wimp. She should be a great adversary for Kate and nice arm candy for Brady.
I love….
- the new sets
- the new dialog
- people doing normal things, like eating!
- the romance
- direction of the storylines…I am not F’forwarding nearly as much
- the recognition of past characters and storylines
- a reason for Salemites to get dressed up
- recognition of holidays!!!!!
I did laugh out loud when EJ referred to Marlena and John’s entrance as "the second coming of John and Marlena"….but I did tear up a little when they showed up.
Seriously…I thought that whole scene was very amateur. If the writers would watch one episode of Law and Order SVU- they could have written in more realistically. But the rest of the show is making me happy
She does look younger with Daniel..and I’m not looking forward to Jack’s return either. They are so combative and irritating. She seems calmer with Daniel and not so hyper!
He’s losing his mind because his parents didn’t even care enough to name him a whole word! When he realized that Will, Buddy, and the others had more than one letter in their names, he became psychotic. That’s all I can come up with. He used to be a fairly likeable kid.
