that Will finally called Nick out on the "gay boy" comment. I hope he meant what he said, that he won’t allow his child to be raised by a bigot, if that is in fact what Nick is. I am also very shocked that Gabi never asked Nick about the comment later, nor did she seem to have any reaction to it at all.
I was actually just coming on here to post about Sydney!! I feel terrible, because they are little girls, but they just have no business acting. They have absolutely no personality and always seem terrified to be on camera. Not sure what TPTB were thinking hiring them. Looking forward to the new little actresses!
But Jennifer is SO insecure that based on what Maggie says… not even what Daniel says… she decides to cancel the date that she was so looking forward to. When she texted Daniel I said out loud to the TV "oh, come on"! Just so stupid. Maggie – Daniel has only been your son for a few months. And he’s in his 40s for crying out loud. Leave him alone!!!
They should’ve just had an unknown couple do it. There are other people in Salem besides the ones we know, right?? Would have been much more realistic, and more fair to Gabi/Nick. Does Eric not know that Gabi used to date Will? Can you imagine having to discuss your relationship with a member of your ex’s family??? Heaven forbid they actually pay for a couple of new actors for one episode!
It wasn’t out of line for them to ask, but then they harped on it and harped on it! Most people would have just brushed it off like, ohh silly guy, doesnt’ even know how many weeks it’s been! For them to question it with such alarm was not warranted. They have no reason (yet) to be suspicious of anything!
In case anyone was wondering… Eileen Davidson is 53 (damn, she looks great!!!!) and Eric Martsolf is 41. Not sooo crazy, but of course if you go by Days history, "Brady" should only be around 20 years old!
He keeps saying that he’s "taking care of some business". I don’t think they’ve gone into specifics.
The tag had the date and time on it, and Daniel knew it didn’t seem right because as far as he knew, Nicole wasn’t at the hospital until later in the day after the accident happened. The fact that the time said 11 AM or whatever, set off a red flag for him. I don’t think it was the actual clothing itself that made him suspicious.
When she had on that fitted, silver sweater with the gold necklace and the Farrah Fawcett hairstyle for her first day back at work, I thought she looked absolutely stunning! Then the next day… yikes!! It looked like she aged 10 years!
I actually like EJ like this! His giddy, teenage-like excitement at the thought of a date with Sami. With all of the sad, dramatic things going on, I welcome this lightness even if it does seem a bit out of character for him. I mean come on, EJ wore a shirt yesterday that was NOT tucked in!! The horror!!
That being said, I am Team Rafe all the way, but I don’t mind seeing this different (happy?!) side of EJ, as short-lived as it may be. He’s always so stuffy and dark and serious, to me this was a welcome change. I found myself smiling through the scenes where he was teasing her about asking him out on a date. Yes!! If this is true, that is awesome! I like her MUCH better as Billie. Now if they could just get Chelsea back, maybe there could be a storyline! Not sure what else Billie has to do.
My husband points this out to me all the time! "Why is that guy always smiling"? And, I really don’t know what to tell him! I think he is a good actor, but the constant smiling and smirking does become very distracting. He was doing it even as he came into the pub and saw his grandfather strapped to a gurney… he turned around to Kayla to ask what he could do to help and he was half smiling! WHY!!
… when I loved Sami & Lucas as a couple. They were at their best when they got married right before EJ made her get divorced so she could marry him and end the "vendetta". They’ve always had great chemistry and I used to root for them all the time. Now – it actually pains me to watch them together! It could not be more obvious that Sami is just not into the relationship this time around, nor is she even a tiny bit in love with him. I’d say I feel bad for Lucas, but then again he should know better than anyone what she is about and how things will inevitably end up between them. The writing is on the wall for him but he’s choosing not to read it. If they’re going to continue to bring Lucas back, I wish they would give him better storylines than simply following Sami around like a dog! Let him meet somebody new!
You can’t deny that they do sexual tension VERY well! EJ is right… every time they’re together there are sparks flying whether they’re arguing or just sitting and talking. I much prefer her being with Rafe (they had great chemistry as well) but I have to admit I do enjoy watching Sami & EJ try to dance around their feelings and all the "almosts". Even though we know they shouldn’t be together, it’s exciting to watch!
