Why wasn’t Rex angry with Mimi??? At all?? His world should’ve been rocked at finding out he had a child, and that Mimi was planning to keep her a secret from him! Instead he was like “oh, she’s mine? Cool”.

… Jason47, they originally didn’t plan for Rex to stay long, but then decided to keep him. Pretty sure Sarah is sticking around too, so I’m sure there will be plenty of couple-hopping going on!
Isn’t there a country where everyone on the show goes to get divorces that doesn’t require both parties’ consent? They probably flew there, got the divorce, and then got married in one fell swoop.
Where are they going with the character of Sheila? It struck me odd that Abe and Valerie spent so much time discussing her. Between that, and the fact that she has significantly more screen time, it seems like they’re gearing up for something. She’s actually a pretty good actress! She delivers her lines a lot more smoothly and realistically than some of the vets!!!
Even though he knows it’s Hattie, he was under duress (blackmail) to marry her. Grounds for annulment!
They would be married in name, but they could probably get an annulment because it is fraud! Or because John is under duress… Hattie is blackmailing him into marrying her.
COME ON Belle!!! How is your spidey sense not tingling?!?! I don’t care how “drugged” they claim Marlena is, it would make her pronounce words differently and suddenly have a southern drawl! “There’s gonna be a weddin’!!!” Classic Hattie and it’s absurd that Belle wouldn’t be at all suspicious.
I had the same thought… Mimi’s baby. When is she supposed to start airing? I had bets that it would be her showing up at the station!
Really a terrible way to write off a veteran character. I guess that’s what happens when the actor is blindsided and let go suddenly. Even if there were negotiation issues, how can they treat someone that way who has been with the show for so many years?? Decades!! Just awful.
