LOVE Brooklyn Nine-Nine!! It’s the only new show I started watching this season. DH and I laugh out loud every week.
I was shocked too, but yes, this show has always been more about the viewer voting than the talent of the contestants. The ones with the biggest fan bases have always done better on this show… this season is no exception. I do agree though, that the judges tend to nitpick with certain contestants but not others… because they are "entertaining".
Not for Abigail, but I think he’s a funny character with potential. He lightens things up, which this show sorely needs!
I don’t think Theresa and JJ ever actually had sex… she passed out before anything happened. At least that’s how I saw it.
She looks great in red, and yes… cleavage! Such a change from her usual outfits.
Not a fan of Sami’s look, either. At the VERY least, she should have worn black heels, not red. I am almost always disappointed in the bridal fashion on Days. The wedding dresses always look cheap and unflattering.
And just as an aside, since it wasn’t at the wedding, I LOVED seeing EJ in that casual blue sweater yesterday!! He looked great, and gave him such a softer look. James Scott must despise having to wear suits all the time! Joe Mascolo and John Aniston too, for that matter. When they’re hanging out at home would it kill them to dress down a little?!
I agree, I don’t want anything romantic to happen between them. I like them as friends and I like Eric as a priest. I just can’t see him completely giving that up without living with extreme guilt and self-loathing. Even in the "fantasy" scenes of them in bed together, it just seems wrong and forced.
Their scenes were fantastic and I can’t wait to watch Nicole put the puzzle pieces together. MAN, is Kristen going to get hers! And MAN, is Brady going to eat crow. Again!!
I hated Sami’s hairdo! It looked too severe and it looked like the bun was going to fall out at any time. Her dress was nice.
Abigail’s dress was horrible. Her hair was ok, but I prefer when she wears it down and wavy.
I agree 100% about Gabi’s dress looking like a cheap sale rack item. Didn’t like it at all, and I wasn’t crazy about her tightly pulled back bun.
I loved Marlena’s dress and hair! She looked fabulous.
Kristen’s hair looked like it needed a brushing and yes, her dress was on the trampy side. Way too low cut.
I think it’s refreshing to see someone NOT overdose on the bronzer for once! I, too, have very pale skin and have heard all my life "you need some color, you’re so white"! Well, I’m Irish, what do you want?! It does really show you just how much makeup/bronzer they pile on some of these actors… *ahem* Shawn Christian! Nadia Bjorlin always overdid the bronzer too – even in the dead of winter she had that orangey glow!
I’ve been saying this (to myself) since he first came on the scene… a shorter, neater haircut would do WONDERS!! THe man is hot!! I used to love him on that CW show, Summerland, and he had a much more flattering hairstyle. SC seems to like this current ‘do since it hasn’t changed in years!
I never warmed up to Cameron anyway. I find the character boring and repetitive. Neither actor brought much to the role, although I guess they weren’t really given much to work with. So this leaves Abigail, Sonny & Will, JJ and Theresa for the younger set. Maybe they will SORAS Joey (although he’s another family member!) or bring back some other long-lost Salemite in the near future. I wish Shawn & Belle would return!
This week, especially, has been a total snoozefest. Daniel/Jennifer… zzzzz. Nicole/Eric… zzzzz. Brady/Kristen… zzzzz. Rafe in a hospital bed… zzzzz. The only story I am remotely interested in right now is Sami/EJ.
