DeeLanParticipant
I didn’t care for Nicole and Roman, and I keep remembering she dated his son. I know she married Victor but that didn’t seem as "icky" for me as her and Roman.
DeeLanParticipantKeeping you in my prayers.
DeeLanParticipantIf he’s still trying to bring down the DiMera’s maybe it’s Kristin.
DeeLanParticipantShe’s turning into Maggie when Mickey was always off camera or on a business trip.
DeeLanParticipantThis didn’t start out to be a one season show, it just got cancelled a few episodes in but I agree, series finale would have been much better.
DeeLanParticipantIt seems every show we like gets cancelled so we knew it was doomed from the beginning. I’d heard they were going to bring finality to the story and not leave it hanging but it seemd they just threw that last episode together to put everything in a nice box with a pretty bow.
DeeLanParticipantAgree about the ratings. The media went on and on about the feud between Nikki and Mariah but I haven’t seen more than simple sparring. Even that I think is all for show and ratings to get people to keep tuning in waiting for the cat fight to begin.
DeeLanParticipantPowerpaw2…I agree with your last sentence. For several years now I’ve felt it was "the in thing" in Hollywood to be gay or bi. There are so many putting on a PDA’s which I think are for shock value while those that you know are gay are very private about it or don’t push it down your throat. Ellen I think is one classy lady who makes tongue in cheek remarks and laughs with people rather than giving them an eye or an ear full every chance she can. One of her comments that come to mind happened the other day when she had a young boy and his mom on. The boy says he’s Ellen’s boyfriend and she said "I can honestly say you’re my only boyfriend".
My brother was gay and grew up in the 50’s. Even though my parents didn’t turn their back on him it was the "unspoken" secret in the family. I grew up in the 70’s and dated a guy in high school who I later found out was gay. Looking back he tried to tell his friends but everytime he’d approach the subject he’d be shut down by comments "I’d tell that queer to stay away from me" "I don’t want a queer in my life". It was heartbreaking to watch.
With that knowledge I found it strange that everyone was so accepting of Will. Even Sonny said that Justin and Adrienne had a hard time when he told them and I would have liked that a bit better with Will. I guess Lucas having a problem with Will’s relationship with Sonny was the closest I felt they came to portraying this storly honestly but even in the beginning Lucas seemed too accepting but maybe he was OK with Will saying he was gay but when he was in a relationship it hit him that this was real and he couldn’t handle it.
DeeLanParticipantI agree. You can dislike the MAN in office but you should always have respect for the title and office they’re in. Then think in 4 years you get the chance to voice your opnion again.
DeeLanParticipantI use to stutter when I was younger and the doc told my parents it was because my brain was working faster than I could talk so I’d stumble over the words. My thinking was singing was different because the words are already written and the music keeps it all in time for you.
DeeLanParticipantI just heard the other day that Obama’s swearing in on innaugeration is a formality since he’ll actually be sworn in the day before. Something about not having a president in office. From what I read, the constitution mandates the innaugeration is on January 20th so he and Biden will be sworn in in private on Sunday and at the ceremony on Monday. Having 2 innaugerations is something very few presidents have gotten to do and Regan was the last one.
DeeLanParticipantI do remember her saying she was visiting and there was one holiday she went to see him.
DeeLanParticipantWell, if this is true it would be great if Jen didn’t want to be with him, though I couldn’t see that happening, and he and Nicole got together. Then Nicole could be the mom she’s always wanted to be.
DeeLanParticipantIf I remember corrrectly Dan didn’t kick Chloe out because Parker wasn’t his, it was because Chloe cheated on him and didn’t tell him. I don’t see that changing Dan’s opinion and he’ll still love his son and want a relationship with him without taking Chloe back.
DeeLanParticipantI work for myself and I worked New Years Day. It was great becaue everyone else was off and I got work done without any interruptions.
