When I went through PreCana in the early 80’s it wasn’t done by the parish but we were given a list of different classes that were going on in Chicago and we picked the one that fit into our schedule. We had to go for a full weekend, 4-6 hours a day. Other classes met one day a week but all were group classes. There was a priest there but he wasn’t one from our church and a couple who taught most of the classes.
When my aunt and uncle got married (over 50 years ago) he wasn’t catholic so to be married in the church he had to sign documents that he agreed their children would be raised catholic.
Since they only need an annullment through the church then who knows if any of them received one. I don’t think they’re given quickly and for any reason. When my cousin was trying to get an annullment through the church after her divorce I had to fill out documents telling how ling I knew them and a bunch of other questions about things I observed aboutt their relationship.
Right, that happened with Claire when they found out Shawn was the father.
The thing is though in Salem people change their names over night without any legal intervention and they accept long lost parents and siblings without question or needing psychological help.
I like this. I know I keep going back to Mike Horton but if I remember he was hit by a car or had an accident at the farm and needed blood. That’s when it came out that Bill, not Mickey was his father.
Is Parker coming to Salem with Chloe or will it just be her and Nancy?
A few weeks ago there was a spoiler about someone’s son coming to Salem and everyone was speculating whether it would be Kayla and Steve’s Joey or Jen and Jack’s Jack Jr. Now I’m wondering if it might be Daniel’s Parker.
Yes, and I’d be happy if it took YEARS for the truth to eventually come out. Not keep it front and center but always in the background waiting to explode one day when everyone least expects. The way they did with the Mickey, Laura, Bill, Mike storyline. Only Bill, Laura,Tom Horton and the viewers knew the truth.
One has nothing to do with the other. Even though Stefano had a plan in sending Kristen to Salem she had her own agenda when she finally agreed.

I don’t have that problem unless I haven’t used that device in a while. I also have to enter my password in again after I run all my scans on the weekend (malwarebytes, super-antispyware)
From what I remember Susan somehow learned about the room (not sure if Kristen was going to get Susan in there or what) but she got the better of Kristen and ended up locking her in ther with Marlena.
Sami was raped by Alan. Franco was hired or blackmailed by Kate into seducing Sami and getting her to marry him. On their wedding day Lucas came in drunk and killed Franco and Sami passed out so Kate set it up to look like Sami was the killer. Sami was sentenced to death and at the last minute as she was being given the lethal injection Lucas confessed and Kate hired a bum who was in the hospital dieing to confess. Mike did CPR and saved Sami’s life.
I too think Nick will ask Gabi to marry him but knowing Chad he’ll do something to ruin it or he’ll be the cause of Gabi miscarrying. He might not purposely set out to cause it and might not even know she’s pregnant but being a DiMera in training he’ll do something.
I was thinking the same thing, Nick and Gabi get married and Nick claims the baby as his. If they do go this route I hope they take a page from the old days and keep the secret for years but not dragging it into every episode. The viewers and Nick, Will and Gabi will be the only ones knowing the truth. Then when it finally does come out it will have HUGE ramifications.
If they do reveal the truth too soon to me it’ll be a repeat of all the previous storylines done recently.
