I did like what Maggie said though when he said the people at the hospital were worried about her and mentioned her MG coming back. She told him if anybody at the hospital said anything they breached her privacy. FINALLY someone mentioned patient privilege and privacy.
I’d heard she either was or already had the baby.
Edited to add: Wikipedia says she’s expecting her second baby in the Fall of 2010.
Does anyone else think Allie was having trouble with the line and Sami stepping in wasn’t in the script. I mean what kid tells you the entire name of a treat including brand name.
I read Prevuze the day before. Chloe thought Carly was playing a trick on her and it might be another hysterical pregnancy so Daniel asked for a sonogram to be done as proof that she’s really pregnant. That’s why she was so tense and not wanting to look at the screen. She was afraid it would show nothing just like the last one did.
The rate they’re having people who can’t get pregnant or father kids insurance companies should pay for infertile couples to relocate there as part of their treatment.

A great storyline would be Jeremy rushing back but no one knowing and he was the driver of the other car.
After they watched the video and Stefano said Kate saved his life that night she responded with "and killed a man" Kate then said that Stefano covered it up.
In going with that I have to assume the hand that reached for the lamp was Kate’s and she’s the one that hit the Senator over the head and killed him. I’m also going to suspect that they never saw the tape as Maddie got it before they could so they weren’t sure if they were on the tape or not. So, if it got out that was how the Senator died and Kate and Stefano’s voice is on the tape and Maddie was on the floor next to the bed then Kate and stefano would be suspect for sure.
There was a special news announcement about McChrystal resigning and Obama appointing Petraeus to replace him as Afghanistan commander. At least we can catch it in it’s entirety on Soapnet.
I just caught up on the last 6 episodes (in 3 hours) and I can say I’m enjoying the show and it’s not just for seeing the veterans but also for seeing some family interaction. Do you think TPTB will realize people are tuning in to see that and continue with it after Alice’s funeral? Probably not, they’ll just go back to the same ol’ stuff that kept me from watchint except in bits and pieces for the last few years. I’d forgotten how many that weren’t Horton’s were still affected by Alice. I knew there was a family that lived next door at one point but forgot it was Roman & Marlena. Seeing Jennifer and Melissa looking through the photos and commenting on Jennifer and Glenn and having them get Allie involved in making the donuts and finishing the scrapbook/photo album. They forget that not every scene has to be trials and tribulations with secrets and scheming going on.
A lot of people don’t like spoilers but I for one enjoy them as it lets me know if an episode might be interesting to watch. I read this board to find out what others have to say about an episode before I decide to watch. How many others are there are doing the same. The problem with that is it’s still viewers, they don’t care if we watch and FF through our least favorite storyline or characters, the fact that we tune in at all is all they care about. Some like EJ and will watch every scene with him, others can’t stand the guy and FF every time he’s on screen but the end result is, we’re still tuning in.
In my memories Laura never had an "affair". It was Mickey that had an affair with his secretary.
Laura and Bill were dating when Mickey became interested in Laura. Bill left town and Mickey and Laura got married. After Bill came back he got drunk and raped Laura but didn’t remember it. That’s when Laura got pregnant with Mike. Nobody but Bill, Laura and Tom Horton knew about the rape and that Mickey was sterile so they all knew Mike was really Bill’s son but decided to let Mickey believe he was the father. (that was one of the longest stories and best kept secrets on Days and they made it work without shoving it down our throats every day)
Mickey had an affair first with his secretary. It was after several separations that Bill and Laura realized they were in love and Laura planned to divorce Mickey to marry Bill but I don’t remember any affair. Mickey had a heart attack and stroke and wound up with amnesia and left town and that’s when Bill and Laura got closer and Mickey found Maggie.
EDITED TO ADD: I do agree Laura was out of line with Kate but in her defense wasn’t it revealed years later after Kate came to Salem that it was seeing Bill and Kate in a compromising situation that caused Laura to go over the edge and end up in the institution for close to 20 years. Yes, another rewrite of history since there was no Kate before and Laura snapped after Jennifer was born and started seeing her dead mother telling her to kill herself.
My guess about this. She’ll get off with no time in a jail or mental facility because it was the sleeping pills that caused her to behave that way and she’ll no longer be taking them. What would be a twist though is if they sued the drug manufacturer and won. That would be out of the headlines of today.
I’m still thinking Maddie left Salem after the murder and had Chad but told him he was adopted to keep the secret from Stefano. Even if his name’s not on the birth certificate, Madeline as birth mother and the date should tell a lot.
I may be wrong on this but when my cousin adopted his granddaughter her birth certificate was changed to list him as father and the mother space was blank. So, wouldn’t any birth certificate be changed to reflect the adopted parents as the parents and not the bio parents.
Maybe that’s the story Madeline left Salem after Stefano killed that guy and had the baby She told Chad and everyone he was adopted to keep Stephano from finding out she was pregnant. A little back history that recycles the Sami/EJ/Pregnancy storyline.
