I agree kids shouldn’t use the hate word when it pertains to their parents but I’ve never had a parent like Sami or any of the parents in Salem.
Will is embarassed by Sami’s behavior. He just starts trusting her and she does it again. She ruins every relationship she has with her lies and secrets and all this is either done in public or uncovered in public so I’m sure Will’s been the laughing stock of his friends and classmates his entire life. He’s tried every other way to get her to listen to reason and grow up and it’s fallen on deaf ears so I’m sure this was his way to shock her into listening but we all know it won’t work.
Up until tonight I thought it would be Crystal all the way. Now I’m thinking Lee’s got a chance. He was the best tonight on both songs. Simon did good when he hinted that he was involved in the arrangement and it showed that someone was guiding him. If this were the finale I’d say Lee would win.
Chloe started out with self confidence not afraid of anything. Yeah she was Goul Girl but that was what she created and she didn’t slink in the shadows and run from people. After her transformation at the Last Blast or was it their Christmas Dance she was still self ashured and wasn’t afraid to speak her own mind and follow her dreams. Now she’s a whiney, pathetic shell of what she use to be and she’s afraid of her own shadow.
That might have been the last for the Atlantis but they’ve still got a couple more Discovery shuttle missions this year.
September 16th – The STS-133 crew members are Commander Steven Lindsey, Pilot Eric Boe and Mission Specialists Alvin Drew, Michael Barratt, Tim Kopra and Nicole Stott.
Discovery will deliver the Express Logistics Carrier 4 and critical spare components to the International Space Station. This will be the 35th shuttle mission to the station.
November – The STS-134 crew members are Commander Mark Kelly, Pilot Gregory H. Johnson and Mission Specialists Michael Fincke, Greg Chamitoff, Andrew Feustel and European Space Agency astronaut Roberto Vittori.
Endeavour will deliver spare parts including two S-band communications antennas, a high-pressure gas tank, additional spare parts for Dextre and micrometeoroid debris shields. This will be the 36th shuttle mission to the International Space Station.
If funds are available I hope to take my husband for his birthday.
After reading this last night I can picture the final episode of DOOL being just like the ending of St. Elsewhere. We show a middle income bedroom with Isaac sitting on his bed drawing pictures of everyone in Salem and find out it was all inside his head or reading a comic book with all of Salem in it and there’s a stack of these comic books on the floor.
Some of them probably look at this as "paying their dues." Instead of going from dive to dive playing gigs hoping to get noticed they get instant exposure and if they’re good enough a record label or manager will notice them. Instead of them doing all the work AI is doing it for them but AI, 19 Entertainment and Fox are making a lot of money off of those kids.
I might not be listening to the right kind of music but I’ve only heard of 2 winners making it and that’s Carrie Underwood and Kellie Clarkson. Fantasia’s done good in plays and Jennifer Hudson (who didn’t win) in movies. I’ve heard through the show that Reuban is coming out with albums but don’t hear him on the radio. Same for Taylor. I have a young cousin who listened to Jordan Sparks after the show but she hasn’t mentioned her in the last year. Don’t know if that’s because she’s grown out of her or Jordan hasn’t done much lately.
I think Daughtry has gone the farthest besides Carrie Underwood and he came in 4th on the show but I’m sure he had a record contract as soon as he was voted off. As soon as the summer tour ended he wasn’t tied to AI anymore and was able to pick his own band and do the music he was good at.
OH, we can’t forget Kelly Pickler who made enough money that she was able to buy herself a couple of things besides new shoes. Being in the southease Alabama she has performed here a couple of times.
I never understood the reason behind the embryo switch unless it’s because Shawn is a Brady and it was another way to hurt them. Of course the DiMera’s do a lot of things that have me scratching my head and wondering "why?".
I agree about Sami not really loving EJ. She’s in lust with him and infatuated by him when he turns on the charm and bats those eyes at her. She’s in love with the attention and flattery he showers upon her when he’s not trying to torment her. I was going to say not destroying her life but trying to ruin her relationship with Rafe and get her for himself is ruining her life.
I’d like it if Sami would wise up and not fall for EJ’s tricks and flattery. Let her call him on some things and keep him on the straight and narrow. Yeah, he’ll slip up once in a while but let her rein him back in
I agree. Not to mention how long it takes today for an artist to release an album and the years between albums.
I remember when I was younger the Beatles had a new album out every few months where now it can go a year or two between albums. Seems like that locks the winner into a multi year contract.
I do know 2 sisters who tried out 2 years ago and one made it to Hollywood but was voted off early on. They had made a couple of CD’s before auditioning and had a website but had to shut it down before being on the show. I guess they considered that an unfair advantage. I’d also heard that the winner is in for a longer contract than the runner up but after the first 2 places the contestants are only under contract until the summer tour ends. Anything else I’m not sure of.
We were positive Crystal would be the one voted off. Why? Because she’s the best of the group. In past seasons the front runners have been voted off in 4th place. Think Daughtry, Melinda Doolittle, Allison Araheta (my opinion better than Adam). If I were the contestants I’d rather be voted off in 3rd or 4th place since they’re done with Idol after the summer tour where the winner and 2nd place are locked into longer contracts. Look at how far Jennifer Hudson and Daughtry have gone. Idol gave them exposure but the rest was their talent and ability to make choices based on their strengths and not be locked into the type of performer Idol producers want them to be.
I read on Prevuze where Kate and Madeline are talking and Madeline tells Kate "once a whore always a whore" Kate shoots back "takes one to know one". So it does appear they were both in the same profession at one time.
