I don’t think Chad is Kate’s but I do think Stefano and Madeline maybe had an affair OR she was in the same line of work as Kate and got pregnant. She pulled a Sami and kept it a secret from Stefano. Maybe she was married at the time and passed him off as her husband’s. So, Stefano doesn’t know Chad is his but will find out soon.
Shawn D is Alice’s grandson so he and Belle should be there. I guess they couldn’t get all they asked to come back for various reasons but they at least have her remaining children there, Marie and Bill.
Why couldn’t they just do as they did with Mickey’s funeral. Have those not on screen in the kitchen or mention them being there earlier. They could even have someone sitting at Alice’s bedside talking to her as Bill but not show his face. There’s no way they’re going to get those flashback scenes with a new Bill since a lot of those actors/characters aren’t around anymore.
It’s like that with any medical show. It’s usually the docs and 1 nurse where the doc does CPR. ER usually had a bunch of people in the room when a patient coded but they were all nurses and a couple of docs.
Sami did marry Lucas before the twins were born so they were born after she got married and at least one of them she was married to their father but none were conceived in wedlock.
I love it. People who don’t want to get pregnant or told they can’t get pregnant end up getting pregnant at the drop of a hat. Here someone actually tries to get pregnant and watch, she won’t.
I agree about Casey. As they keep saying "it’s a singing competition" but with Casey he can not only sing he can really play that guitar. Wtih him you’ve got the whole package.
A few weeks ago they got all over Tim for dancing (yeah it was a bit too much) but then they get all over somone for not moving. Crystal didn’t move and usuallly just stands in one spot singing but they don’t get on her for it. Kara’s been on Casey’s case and against him since she was teased the first or second week about her comments and attraction to his looks. Simon was on one of the late night shows when AI first started this season and said his favorite was Crystal.
Days Cafe has a speculation that it might be the meds or mind control. I hope it’s the meds and we’re done with all the sci fi mind control, micro chips, cloning and rising from the dead stuff. Doc Baker doesn’t count as we did have that finger twitching clue to tell us there was a possibility he wasn’t really dead.
When I worked at the hospital for 30 years in Respiratory Therapy we had a "code team" When a code was called those on the team had pagers that announced the code and the room. Those were the people that responded. The team was comprised of doctors, nurses from the ICU (3 total and they were required to take ACLS; Advanced Cardiac Life Support classes and could run the code if a doc wasn’t there), respiratory therapy (2 therapists), lab, x-ray, pastoral care and the nursing supervisor for on duty that covered the entire hospital. One ICU nurse would write out times, rhythms and meds given. The doc would yell the orders, another 1-2 ICU nurses would administer drugs and respiratory therapy usually did CPR with a nurse doing compressions once in a while to give the therapist relief. The nurses from the floor would get out of the way but the nurse assigned to that patient would be available to answer questions about medical condition, meds taken and what happened. The doc in charge of the code was an ER doc or house doc and if/when the attending showed up he was then in charge unless he wanted to remain in the background which most did. The room was full of people and each person had a specific job and did it well. Same for ER except the nurses from the ICU didn’t respond, only respiratory therapy, x-ray, lab and pastoral care. We may have had 2 docs in the room at that time and if one was an intern they called the shots under the supervision of the ER doc.
